Gear up and get out.
Kicking up your heels mid-winter had been accompanied by wet, chilled legs until you slipped on the Oakley Women's Lutsen Pant. Smooth polyester tickles your tactile fancy and Gore-Tex gives you unbeatable protection against water, both inside and out. Real style highlights your G-force ripping shape so no one mistakes you for another one of the guys.
The Gore-Tex Performance membrane guarantees waterproof and breathable protection. Whether you're skinning up for a quick pre-work tour or boarding in the middle of a road-closing dump, you'll be sweat- and snow-free. DWR on top of it all encourages moisture to bead up and roll off the fabric's surface so you can avoid "I'm not wet, but I feel wet" clamminess. Just in case you generate heat like it's your job, invisible inner thigh vents open for an instantaneous exchange of hot dank air for sweet fresh air.
Boots can be bruisers when it comes to your pants. Reinforced cuffs and abrasion-resistant patches extend the life of the Lutsen pant. Lower leg zips make getting dressed easy, saving the tough stuff for bump runs and crud. Boot gaiters grip your boots, and the stay-in-place loop ensures your pant ankles stay down when you're soaring through powder or hammering down fresh corduroy. Some days you need more than lower-half protection against the weather. Grab the Lutsen Insulated jacket and attach the pants to the powder skirt for seamless snow protection from head to toe.

Warm and Dry
I purchased these as a gift and she has really loved these pants.. They are high quality, with lots of great features. For skiing in Utah she has never had a problem staying warm and dry in them.
As far as the fit goes, they are a bit big in the waist but couldn't go to a smaller size because of the length, so the adjustable size band in the waist is helpful but it doesn't really do the job all the way because it makes the sides bunch. She is 5'11" and typically wears Large in ski pants.
Her main complaint about the pants is the zippers- she wishes they were a little burlier especially on the pockets.
Just Got 'Em
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Just got these pants a few weeks ago in green and love the color and fit. They give me enough room to move comfortably and have enough insulation to keep me warm. Both of those points are important since I'm moving constantly to teach lessons.

Straight From The Source
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
I had the opportunity to work with Oakley to design and test the Lutsen Pant. This pant is designed for someone looking for gear that will last. I have skied with this pant on the coldest -25 degree days and the warmest 90 degree summer day on the Whistler Glacier in Canada. This pant works in all conditions because cause of its water-proof and breathable technology. On the cold days I wear a base layer underneath, close all the vents and ski. On the warm days I wear a thinner base layer and open the vents. If you want a pant that is light-weight and works for both skiing and hiking, this is the pant for you.
