Cargo pants don’t spin as fast, but one look at the Oakley Lava Pant and it won’t matter. Featuring fully-taped seams and 15k mm waterproof abilities, the Lava Pant doesn’t just prevent the elements from penetrating your core, it also breathes so you stay warm & dry. Adjustable waist tags let you sag, or not, depending on your mood. Thigh vents allow for maximum cooling fast, while the front, back and cargo pockets carry enough to survive in the woods for nine days. Don’t believe us? Look it up.

  • Removable storm skirt is compatible with corresponding jackets
  • 3D embroidered icon adds style points
  • Breathability prevents freezing inside your pants

Bottom Line: Slow spins, mad style.

I'm a skier and I'm tired of the typical boring black ski pants and these caught my eye. I really like the look of these and was wondering how functional they would be for skiing given they are snowboard pants. If you can't comment on these particular pants, in general, what is skiing like with snowboard pants and are there any disadvantages?

these are actually not too baggy and will be fine for skiing, the only downside about skiing in snowboarding pants is them being too baggy and flopping around as you're going fast

These pants fit pretty loose on the legs. I'm a 34 waist and rock the size Large. I also wear a knee brace and these are loose enough to accomodate it (ossur cti2 brace). I'd just get whatever size you normally wear because you don't want them to be falling off your ass due to a bigger waist!
