    The sky WAS the limit.

The news has not yet been released, but a certain space agency will soon be offering incredible incentives to volunteer for a mission to the Gas Giant. So get your Oakley Jupiter Sunglasses and prepare for an opportunity of a lifetime. Once you hop into the massive rocket's passenger compartment and watch the Earth slowly shrink, you'll be glad you have this spacey shade to block the sun's unobstructed UV rays.

    • Durable O Matter frame fits your face with or without a space helmet and withstands some turbulence during liftoff
    • Impact-resistant Plutonite lens with glare-reducing Iridium (optional) coating enhances optical clarity, especially when piloting your craft around Jupiter
    • The six base lens curvature geometry provides comfortable peripheral coverage
    • Three-point fit means that the nose and temples keep the shade secured where you get the best vision possible

Jupiter Squareds are still my go to's

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I have 4 pair of these... excessive, I know. BUT I love them. Everything about them. The lens, the fit, the clarity, the way they stay on my head if it's not super bright out and I don't need them on.

They don't squeeze too tight, they don't get caught in my hair (that's a real problem!). They're just amazing.

    Classic inspiration, modern style

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like that these are wayfarer-ish without being complete design knockoffs, and they fit slightly larger than a wayfarer as well. Very well-designed, well-made, well-fitting pair of sunglasses. They pull both casual and sports duty pretty regularly, and are adept at both.

    Very lightweight

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Feels incredible light yet strong, doesn't slip and the filter is amazing.

    Smaller Look

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Has the Unobtainium (rubber) temple pads for a more sporty fit. Meaning they will stay on your head and face better during activity. Nice lens selection here. Good lifetstyle of active piece.

    Awesome

    • Fit: True to size

I love these sunglasses. I got prescription lenses in mine, and they are awesome. They stay on your face better than something that is just plastic due to the rubber parts on the temples. Very flashy and cool looking. I picked these over something like the frogskins due to the rubber, and they just felt better to me. I love them.

    Crystal Clear!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased the Polished Black/jade Iridium style and they are wonderful. I use them for fishing and everyday usage. The lens tint makes every colour surprisingly natural. The rubber jackets keep the glasses snug on your face so they are good for an active lifestyle as well!

if you can only get one pair of sunnies this year

Dunno why anyone would want to settle for only a single pair, but if you absolutely had to, make it this one. Hard to not love the Jupiter Squared. The super-universal fit is just like the awesome Jupiter, except more of a modern, squared off profile because apparently retro androgynous sunnies don't cut it with the Oakley crowd. HDO Optics and Unobtanium earsocks are a nice addition, making this piece a little more versatile than your typical lifestyle sunny.

      * fun fact: the rivets on the arms are inspired by a pocket knife that one of the Oakley designers carried around

I wear a size 7 hat and have a more narrow face. I love the way my Flak Jackets fit, but I really like these and want something less sporty for everyday wear. Any recommendations? I don't have an Oakley store near me (I'm overseas)...so I usually rely on the return policy if things don't work out.

Unfortunately, it will really boil down to a personal fit, so if you travel around and can find a retailer that would be great. Generally in these style Oakleys many people with narrow faces report good results with the Oakley fFive squared and the bottle cap, Good luck!
