Description
Throw on the Oakley Hijinx Polarized Sunglasses and head out for some rowdy adventures.
The Oakley Polarized Hijinx sunglasses' wrap-around frames and polarized High Definition Optics offer advanced protection from high glare conditions like boating, driving, or snow sports. Oakley's unique polarizing process maintains visual clarity by biding the polarizing layer at the molecular level—you basically get the best optics technology offers. These impact resistant O matter frames fit medium to large face sizes. Oakley's tapered XYZ lens technology gives you distortion-free vision at all angles of vision—even at the periphery of the lens. In addition to polarized lenses, these Oakley shades feature darker lens tints give you a neutral contrast that excel in high glare conditions like water sports or skiing. Sqaure O metal icons embedded in the Polarized Hijinx's temples add a distinctly Oakley touch of style.

They do not darken what you see, I mean they reduce the glare and makes your eyes not burn, but you can still see clearly, what you expect from a good pair of polarized glasses. They are also very light, correctly big sized (I mean, you can see in any direction and still have lenses to protect your vision). And yes they look great!

great fitting stylish sunnies that does a great job. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the polarized layering of the lenses started peeling after 3 years of use - but then I have to admit that I wore it in very extreme conditions ranging from -20 F to 120 F.

I like these glasses a lot. My only knock against them would be that they hurt my ears after a couple of hours.

So awesome I am on my second pair. Lots of face coverage which is great in the wind. Also blocks the sun from your eyes as it should. Very durable, I got my first set when they first came out and the only reason I had to replace them is that I lost them. They fit my face great and are comfortable to wear. My only gripe would be they tend to fog up easily in the mornings. Other than that I love them.
great shades

I have owned Oakleys for years. This are bigger than I usually buy, however I love them. I drive a convertible and these really help block out the the sun. I still revert to my Oilrigs for normal wear. But for the beach and cruising, gotta have my my Hijinx!!

The Perfect Fit

I'll make it simple. I have a big head and a broken-several-times nose, so I need a big pair of glasses that fit just right. I had a pair of Oakley Frogskins (purchased in 1998) that I wore for about 10 years, they were amazing. After many years of abuse (lifeguard = tons of exposure to the sun = frame material degrades and weakens until it cracks) I finally caved in and bought some new glasses. The Hijinx fit so perfect, they're super light, the polarization is top-notch. You only get one set of eyes, protect them right. These glasses are worth every single penny.
Two thumbs up!

Yeah, they are big(not obnoxious). To list these for a "medium" face is a bit much, but if you can provide a med/lrg face, you will love these glasses! Great optics, huge field of view and the O Matter frames are superlight, comfy and strong.
a little racoonish

I got these and had Rx polarized lenses put in. They are def. a large frame that kind of remind me of the OTG racoon sunglasses, but that doesnt mean these things dont ball hard! They are a great light weight frame and the polarization is like XRAY vision!
Only pair of Oakleys I will ever own from now on

I have had a few pairs of Oakleys throughout the years, particularly the gascans. Although good glasses, I just couldnt handle the relatively narrow coverage. An friend of mine suggested I try the hijinx, and honestly, these are the most comfortable glasses I have ever worn. I am usually a Smith fan (I own a half dozen of their glasses and LOVE every pair), but these Oakleys just fit my face well. I will be honest though, their optics arent as good as Smiths, contrary to what anyone will tell you, but they are a very durable pair of sunglasses. I found that the Polarization is rather "weak" compared to Smith or even Spy glasses. Honestly, I think Oakley made a winner with these glasses rather than making an overpriced and trendy piece of eyewear.

I have had these for just over a year and they are great. The vr28 black iridium polarized lens is great in bright conditions. Oakley optics are second to none.
Xcellent glasses

These sunglasses are for a person with a very large face. They are great glasses but just too large for me.
