Oakley gave a nod to way-back-when styling and a serious high-five to modern tech when it crafted the GP-75 Limited Edition Frogskin Sunglasses. The muted tones of this limited edition colorway were inspired by the early days of off-road culture when everyday citizens used aging  military vehicles to freely explore the wild. In those days sunglasses were much heavier though, but thanks to Iridium lenses and Unobtanium frames, your shades are much stronger and much lighter.

  • Original vintage 1980s design, re-tooled with modern materials
  • Iridium lenses provide precise, glare-blocking optics
  • Polycarbonate construction with pliable, snap-in arms for durability
  • Hydrophobic technology on lenses repels water, sweat, and oil
  • Super-duper-mega limited edition—when they're gone, they're gone

fav frogskins

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I have 4 pairs of frogskins, and these are my favorites so far. I have some disgustingly bright pairs, and some more muted, stylish pairs, including these, and they look good. The matte finish is incredibly sexy (although the nosepiece gets greasy and gross). Black iridium lenses are reflective, but not annoying and juvenile like fire iridium, and they are clear and aberration free.

A lot of people have complained about the lack of apparent quality in the frames. I will agree, they don't have 5-barrel metal hinges, but the sacrifice in "build-quality" makes them light, easily repairable, and you can switch the legs out. If you crush them, the leg falls off and you just put it back on. It makes them comfortable and not stiff as well.

Overall, great stylish sunglasses. I love the way they look and they're the only glasses I can wear for hours at a time without my ears getting sore, and without my eyes getting tired.
