Power up with the Oakley Fuel Cell Sunglasses.

With looks more powerful than a solar panel array and unflinching optical quality to match, the Oakley Fuel Cell Sunglasses were born to make a spark. The O Matter frames feature Three Point Fit for a comfortable ride, and Oakley cut the Plutonite lenses with High Definition Optics from a single piece of material to maintain contoured vision.

Great everyday sunglasses!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I've had these for years and they are my favorite sunglasses. The frame blocks peripheral light and is very durable. I have had both bronze and black iridium lenses. I prefer the black iridium. I have hiked, camped, white water rafted, fished, and rode my motorcycle with these with absolutely no complaint. I have a large head (7 5/8) and these fit perfectly.

if my lens start flaking will the sunglasses be replaced

Cool and functional

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

These glasses are stylish yet very functionable with their bigger size!

Not so durable

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

These were a good fit for my medium size face. Not the most durable material though. First time I dropped them from about a foot to the sidewalk, scratched lenses and frames.

big and shiny

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

picked up the black/red on SAC for a steal. They fit my large face well and offer a fully mirrored reflection so no one can see in while I'm checking out the surroundings.

What is the face size that fit for this...

What is the face size that fit for this sunglasses? I had wear Jupiter LX but it seen too small for my face.

Best Answer

Hey Mohd Nor,

Thanks for the question. I took a look at the Oakley Fuel Cell Sunglasses and compared the size with the Jupiter LX. The Fuel Cell is a bit larger in all dimensions, especially in the frame width and overall lens width and height. So, if the Jupiter LX was a bit small for you, then the Fuel Cell will work.

Nice glasses, not a great fit

These sunglasses look good but they pinched my head behind the ears. I wore them for a few hours after getting them but had to return them because of the poor fit. They have very good coverage of the eyes and they look pretty sharp. The Black Ink/Ruby Iridium look reddish orange in the picture, they are in fact VERY VERY red. I felt like Cyclops from X-Men, which wasn't all bad.

the grey smoke look like they have a hole above the nose part do they actually or is it an illusion

    Amazing comfort

I have a many pairs of Sunglasses over the years but these fit the best out of all of them. Very light on your face and great vision when wearing them. I would would recommend to any one looking for a great pair of sunglasses.

      Great Design

My friend just bought these after he lost his Gascan's at Lake Powell. I have only briefly tried them on, but after wearing GasCans for the last few years, I really do like this design better. They fit similar to the GasCan, but with a slightly taller lens design, and a slightly more curved frame design. This allows for somewhat of a blend between the old square style that has been popular for the last 5 or 6 years and the newer 'vintage' design that has been popular the last year or so. Overall, these are a great option!

        Killer shades

These shades make a statement. They look great and will get u noticed. Fit perfect and are quite comfotable. Lenses reflect more blue than violet. Get em... U won't be dissapointed!!
