Freight Jacket - Men's

The Oakley Men’s Freight Jacket pulls its own weight all alone or as an extra insulation layer under your shell. Oakley gave this puffy a soft knit collar and knitted cuffs that won’t interfere with your shell and feel nice against your skin. Two front handwarmer pockets and two concealed chest pockets stash your stuff, and inner hem adjustments let you seal out snow, wind, and cold.

Bottom Line: Pack some serious warmth with the Oakley Freight Jacket in your bag.

Good Jacket, not the warmest

This jacket is very nice and durable. I only have two complaints. The collar is like a scrunchie sort of thing like a high school letterman jacket. It kind of pulls on your neck and feels wierd. It is also not the warmest jacket i've had. The mountain hardwear down is much warmer but for the price you can't beat the oakley one. your choice

I recently bought this coat and was wondering if anyone can advise regarding the use of Nikwax Down Proof wash-in waterproofing. Nikwax seems like the right product to use for adding a bit of water repellency but I'm concerned about ruining the coat.

Makes me wish I could grow my own down

This jacket is incredible. From the first time I put it on, I was in love with it. I wore it around my house for over an hour that day. Super comfortable and warm, and the pit zips are a huge plus. I bought this on a whim hoping it would zip into my Oakley Assault Shell, and it did, almost perfectly. There's only about a half of an inch difference in the zipper lengths, but it is completely unnoticeable. The jacket has a sweet look and will definitely get some around the town use on its own. I'm 6'0", 180 lbs and I purchased a size large. The fit is perfect. Good work Oakley. Now I know how a duck feels all of the time.

I purchased this jacket in a size large a week ago and it works really well with my size large Oakley Assault Jacket. The difference in zipper length when you zip them together is about a half of an inch, and you don't notice it at all since it is covered up by the flaps at the top of the Oakley shell. If you want to turn any Oakley shell into your own personal warmth and comfort oasis, go with this Freight jacket.

Great Jacket!!!

The workmanship in this jacket is quality. I own a couple of down jackets in the light weight category and this one is just as awsome. It's a little heavier but more durable. The down does not escape through the small pores of the material. The fit is excellent. I am 5'7 and 165lbs. The sleeves are a little long for me in the medium but that's not a problem. Great style, workmanship and technicallity. Crazy about it and it's the first Oakley jacket I have owned. I usually stick with Mountain Hardwear and Marmot but Oakley is now in the running!
