The Oakley Float Pant features low-profile Thinsulate synthetic insulation behind bomber waterproof construction. A removable single-strap asymmetric bib adds flair in the lodge and extra protection on the deepest storm days, while on the inside, critically placed fleece provides extra warmth and snag-free, cozy comfort. Invisible inseam vents let you cool down without showing off your undies.
These pants are so sick! Marie-France is the most stylish women snowboarder on the planet and her pant expresses her very well. The pant can either be worn up with the strap or folded down so you get the one suspender look over your waist and butt. Very cool!
Cons: suspender slides off shoulder non-stop, suspender only attached by 2 snaps so everytime you bend down to adjust your binding they pop open, the bib does not come up in the back so there is a possibility of getting snow in your buttcrack. They are huge. I am 5'9, 160 and I was even swimming in them. Pros: kept me toasty in Alaska. If you only get out there a couple of times a year, they might be fine. But I just found them very irritating. Not a technical, no-nonsense bib for people who spend their winters in the snow.

The bib just zips off. It's really easy to attach and remove it. Also, the strap is adjustable in the back so you should be able to adjust it so that it wouldn't fall down.
I normally wear a size medium in 686 and Burton clothes, so I wasn't prepared when I got these in the mail. Don't think this style comes in a men's version, but it was SO LARGE I wasn't sure if there was some mistake. They were HUGE, so huge that I didn't know whether I should reorder in Small or XS. Decided just to send it back.
Ordered these pants, in white XS (I'm 5'2", 127 pound) they fit well, I had enough room for bottom layer. They have fleece around the but and legs. I didn't like the bib thing, so I just removed it. The pants still held to me (they added silicon so they won't slide down). I did get some powder to my lower back but I think it's my base layer shirt fault and not the pants. All in all nice pants. oh, Something is weird with the back shoe protection - I didn't quite get how this is suppose to help prevent the back of the pants from getting dirty.
These pants are very cute, but they really aren't practical for anyone who is really going to venture outside and DO ANYTHING. I liked the bib feature for skiing, but it turns out the strap isn't secured to the pants very well. In the back, it is only attached by two snaps, which let go the minute you put tension on them (ie: bend over to adjust boots, bindings, etc.). Without the bibs they work fine, but they just lost half of the advertised functionality.
