Condensed cranial geometry might sound odd and even a bit terrifying, but it’s actually the construction Oakley used to give the Fives Squared Polarized Sunglasses such a sleek curve. Thanks to this geometry, these shades fit comfortably on both small and medium-size faces. The durable O Matter frame feels light on your mug and the thick temples and curves mix street and sport style. Oakley’s XYZ Optics and Plutonite lenses cut distortion and filter out all UV for your viewing pleasure. Peggy
Peggy loves this sunglasses
Bottom Line: Geometry is not a pre-req for the Fives Squared.NOooooo
Just got mine in today and are awesome. They fit great and I have a fairly large noggin'. I haven't worn them while running or doing much yet, so I can't say if they stay on well while sweating, etc, but they are definitely awesome. I'm gonna love rockin' my new shades!
I bought my pair from a guy in his apartment in a back alley in Tirana, Albania for 60 Euros. A nice wipe out on my bicycle put a few scratches on the lenses, but I still use them most days and these slightly scratched, polarized lenses are better than non-polarized any day. My cranium is condensed, so they fit well on my face, but they fit even better on the top of my head when I am indoors. I have the tortoiseshell frames. 2012 might be the year I get a pair from a legit dealer.

I love them. I was one of those guys that just bought the cheapy target polarizer glasses, and after breaking pair after pair, I went and picked these up. Miles of a difference. I use mine for hiking, driving, backcountry snowboarding, and pretty much any other time I walk outside. They seem really well made and super strong.
Never leave the house without them. Good fit for medium sized faces and they wrap really well to eliminate light coming in the sides and top. Low light transmission is great in bright sun, polarization for glare, and lenses don't distort colors. I'm managed to ding my lenses up pretty good but I am hard on them - I'd still say they are pretty tough. Frames have a few scars too. I'd still buy another pair!
I am on my second Pair of Oakley fives, the lenses on the first pair got scratched pretty bad in the first 6 months, I lived with the scratches for another 6 months. I eventually broke down and bought a new pair, this time I took great care of the glasses and they still managed to get some scratches on the lenses after about 3 months. I spoke with Oakley and they said I was SOL. I really liked the way these glasses fit my face, except for the fact that they wouldn't stay on top of my head. I'm going to try the Spy Dirty Mo's next
I picked a pair of these up earlier this summer. I think my face is probably medium sized, and while I like my Gas Cans, the 5s squared look way better on me. As with all of Oakleys shades, the lenses are top notch and the optical clarity is second to none. The polarized lenses are great if you plan on spending a lot to time around water. Whether it's at the beach, sailing, or chilling by the lake, these glasses are at home everywhere. They may not be ray-bans, but Will Smith could make these look right at home wearing a black suit too. These shades are tough, mine have already gotten blasted with rocks, dirt, etc and don't have any scratches yet. The O matter frames are equally rough as well. Best of all, these glasses weigh next to nothing, so they're super comfy all day long.
Very comfortable shades with very good coverage of your eyes, not letting much light through below or above. Only downside is that if you plan on wearing these while playing sports or being very active and sweating/moving a lot, they don't grip on to your head very well since there is no grip on the arms.
these are great oakleys at a fair price.. I really enjoy them for sunsets .. the polorization adds to the overall clarity when I compare them to my old oakleys... also low profile and low weight is nice... I would have given them five stars but I still have a little trouble with them fogging up .. though not to the extent of my old pairs
