Hold on tight.
The next time you head out for an after-work rally at a new trailhead you've been meaning to check out, don't be caught missing shifts and sliding around the bars without your gloves. Throw the Oakley Factory 2.0 Glove in your bag and you'll have far better grip than you do in bare hands on the coolest, driest days. Oakley adds an AX Suede palm to the glove to provide you with tacky grip against the bars, while perforations in the fabric make sure your palms are still able to breathe. During the times you find yourself ducking under encroaching tree branches, the padding at the knuckles will help protect your hands from scrapes, and the grippy pattern added to the underside of the forefinger and middle finger will make sure your shifts land exactly the way you want.

Favorite low profile gloves
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Medium
This glove takes the gold standard from the Fox Ranger as my favorite low profile glove. Give these a try if you're looking for a very minimalist glove with no padding. Simple design, no velcro straps needed to tighten around the wrist. The back side seems to be a bit more durable than others, plus the oakley logo looks sharp right near the knuckles when you're holding the bars. I've taken a few diggers already on these and they seem to be holding up decently well for what they are.
