Bust apart defective eyewear, and put on the Oakley Crowbar Polarized Goggles for clear vision in high-glare conditions. The Crowbar's amplified dimensions extend your range of available peripheral and downward vision. A Plutonite polarized lens with Oakley's patented XYZ Optics provides correction along three axes and increases contrast in flat light and glary conditions for astounding visibility across your entire field of vision. The Plutonite lens material also offers superior eye protection, blocking 100% of all UV. The Crowbar's ultra-flexible O Matter frame contours to facial geometry, offering a precise, comfortable fit enhanced by triple-layer polar foam. Rigid O Matter strap attachments yield a solid, draft-free seal.

Bottom Line: See through the glare.

Great Goggles...

However, they ride a bit big on the face and curve narrowly around the edges of the eyes and cheekbones, though this is likely the reason they give such good peripheral sight. I wear glasses so they rub a bit due to this but all in all these provide some wicked vision in most conditions.

Wicked

The price on these goggles can't be beat anywhere. I have a larger face and these goggles work out perfectly. The H.I. Polarized amber lenses are supposed to be used under moderate to high light conditions but I use these all the time unless I'm under the lights which is only an issue back home in the midwest where we don't have real mountains :(. If you can scoop these up for the low price there's no reason not too. Best goggles I've ever skied with.

p.s. your site rocks!

Awesome

These are the most comfortable goggles I have ever owned. In fact, I own multiple pairs. I gave my polarized version 4 stars rather than 5 because I don't feel that the polarized lens is necessary for skiing. This is not to say that I don't like the polarized lens. It works great to let my lens be slightly less tinted but my eyes still don't hurt. In that aspect the polarization is great, my only complaint is that a polarized lens can sometimes make it difficult to distinguish the difference between ice and snow. Polarized lenses are designed to block out reflected light off of horizontal surfaces, but when you don't see light reflected off of ice, then you basically can't see ice as well. Either way, the optical clarity of these lenses is awesome, and for a powder day you don't have to worry too much about ice anyway.

My vote for best goggles of the season!

By: Backcountry.com Alumni

I wore these goggles (Amber H.I. Intensity Polarized) on the first day of the season, and wore my Smith Anthems (Platinum Mirror) on the second. I was super impressed with the clarity of the lenses, large field of vision, and the compatibility with my helmet, but after going to the Smith goggles, I was DOUBLY impressed! These goggles minimize the sun and eliminate flat light. They are pretty huge, as far as size goes, but they fit with my helmet with no problems. Overall, I had not a negative word to say about these goggles, and I have been less than impressed with Oakley gear as of late, so that is saying a lot! The extra price for these lenses is totally worth it!
