    Details

The Oakley Crowbar Goggle is burly, sleek, and according to Oakley, “always ready for whatever.”

Strap on the Oakley Crowbar Goggle and get prepared for any action the mountain throws your way. Oakley’s lightweight impact-resistant O Matter frame and dual-layer anti-fog Plutonite lenses give you the goods to go anywhere on the mountain and see clearly through any kind of weather you encounter there. Oakley gave the Crowbar Goggle pressure-distributing frame struts that improve fit and comfort while you rocket or jib down the mountain. Add triple-layer face foam with moisture-wicking fleece, and a silicone strap-retention strip, and you feel like you’ve just strapped on the last goggle you’ll ever need.

Great seal, all around good goggle

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've tried on many goggles, but oakley have the most flexible frames of recent offerings. Smith and Giro goggles (look awesome, but...) always seem to have a gap around the side of my nose. I guess I have a small nose? These flex and fully seal on my face. The fire iridium offers a pretty amazing all around lens. It performed better than I expected in low light/foggy conditions. At high speeds, they do have more wind blow through them, but I've actually adjusted to this and like it alot. The benefit is that the goggles clear very fast when fogged up (which is seldom, only when weather is fogging everything anyhow). Fits on a helmet or hat very well, silicone strap holds helmet. Good beer glass clearance as well. A solid piece of kit. Goat worthy!

    Oakley Crowbar Goggle

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The crowbar goggle is the ONLY goggle my boyfriend will wear. Since his last pair was getting a little worn i thought i'd hook him up with a fresh new pair. He loves the look, fit and feel of these goggles. Cant go wrong with the Oakley Crowbar Goggle!

    great comfort, wide view

Yet another solid ski goggle from Oakley. Purchased these with an emerald iridium lense- while great for those bluebird days, I would not recommend them for low light days. Overall great fit and gives a great wide perspective... if you want a step up from a-frames, go for these, you won't regret it. Something of note, these work great with helmets with a visor

    Great goggles, great service.

Received wrong goggles right before leaving on ski trip. Backcountry promptly sent proper set to my hotel, were waiting gor me upon my arrival. Googles worked great, grey tinting eliminated glare, no fogging. Overall, very pleased with merchandise and service.

      Nice Moneymaker For Oakley

How do you make a fortune? Create a product that you use in snow and water yet you can't wipe clean, place a tiny warning about it in the directions that few people read and charge more $$$ for a replacement lens. Bought these for my son and he wiped the lens on the inside when it got wet. A smudge developed and he kept rubbing it because he though it was dirty. Maybe all the ski "insiders" know not to do this but I'm thinking there's a lot more who don't based on a Google search. Why on earth does someone make a sport lens that the most is spent getting wet yet you aren't supposed to touch it? These are to be used for an actual SPORT not sitting around in church . Yes I get it's for the anti fog film but here's a thought for Oakley, instead of spending all that money on a fancy headquarters why not develop a coating that won't smudge or at least you could rub off. Oh that's right, it's how you make a killing on replacement lenses so why do it. BTW, I sent them back to Oakley but they wouldn't exchange them. Never again.

        Great Goggles...

I have two pairs of these because they work so well. Both pairs are several years old, but are in like new condition because Oakley knows how to make optics. Just make sure you keep them in the provided bag, and try to be gentle with the lenses. They aren't a huge goggle, but will fit a medium size face perfect. They work well with my helmet too. Snag some!

        Best goggle I've ever had

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I don't know what it is about Oakley, they simply make awesome products. This was my first Oakley goggle, and it has by far been the most comfortable and best quality goggle I've owned. They have great range of view. The ventilation is excellent because it clears the lens but still keeps your face warm and toasty. And changing lenses is super easy! I highly recommend these goggles!

        Pretty sweet!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Had these goggles for a while now and must say I have no complaints. I've now since upgraded to I/OXs but these served me well until I put my knee to my face and cracked the lenses. (Cant complain about the quality, they were super solid and I doubt many goggles can take a knee to the face.)

I have a narrow-ish face and they fitted pretty well!

        Oakley Comfort And Style

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had Oakley's since the first time I clicked into a pair of skis back in the early 90's. These are hands-down the most comfortable and best performing goggles I've owned. I thought that nothing would replace my go-to A-Frames, but these have exceeded my expectations! No issues with fogging or fit. Get some!

        BUY THEM NOW!

I have owned these goggles for 3 years now,and they have exceded my expectations! They are very comfy on the face. i can wear them for hours and forget they are on my face! The goggles can fit under a helmet and over a(sandbox helmet). These are amazing goggles and i hope they last me for years to come! ( get a tinted lens for scoping out chicks)

Oy... i have beein riding on Dragon DX for quite some time now, and the fit is great, however i am not satisfied with the quality of the product... the fog on the lenses especialy is there are variable conditions during the day, is imminent and extremely frustrating... Having in mind that Dragon DX is close to a perfect fit for my face, what would you fellow freeriders reccomend: Crowbar or Smith Scope Graphics? Your thoughs and recommendations are highly appreciated.

          Cheers

How would this compare to the Smith Phenom?

I have both the Phenom and Crowbar, and I must say the Phenom is much more comfortable and I like the way the strap unbuckles. The buckle in the strap makes it much easier to put on with my helmet. Both work well but the Phenom fits so well, you don't find yourself reaching up to adjust the goggle on your face. They are both good goggles so you can't go wrong either way.

Are the Jewel Blue-White/ Emerald Iridium goggles good for blue bird day to overcast?

I have all luxury gear but these would be my only pair of luxury goggles. So although I like the color I want it to be good for everyday use.

Which lens would be a good all-around lens (a little low-light, a little sun, etc.)? Thanks!

ERK, I'd check out the blue iridium replacement lens - they're a great all around lens for me. Once you get to a replacement lens page, you can click the "sizing chart info" link to pull up the lens chart to see about other potential options based on their light transmission rates.

Are the fire iridium lenses mirror? like can people see through to your eyes? and are they good at night as well as day?

Any of Oakley's "Iridium" lenses means it has that reflective (mirrored) anti-glare coating, which looks totally badass, and keeps the world from checking out your peepers. As for the lens use, like all of the Iridium lenses, it's very much for bluebird days - much too dark (16% VLT) for night use. I'd use a yellow, or persimmon lens for low-light riding.
