When you need a hands-free solution, lock in with the padded shoulder strap and keep your to-go cup in the bottle holder. A rubber coated nylon bottom protects your business from the upchuk on the L-train, reminding you why you moved out west.
Great computer bag. Many compartments and pockets to keep everything organized (pens, discs, papers, etc.) Mostly used for Airline travel. Fits more than computer and power cord. Sturdy construction with protective padding around computer, and obvious wear zones. Shoulder strap fits over shoulder nicely and comfortably as well as bag placement if wearing across the body. Clean design!
Very sturdy with lots of pockets. Once you figure out how you want your stuff organized in it you'll be set. The photo makes it look bigger than it actually is. It fits my Mac Book Pro perfectly and there's still lots of room for your other stuff while not being overly bulky.
Look for online coupons before buying...I think I found one for 20% off somewhere. This bag is going to last for years, so it's money well spent to protect your computer and carry around all your things that go with it.
The only gripe I have is with the shoulder strap pad. It's comfy, but I wish it was more adjustable because it's stitched to the actual strap. Oh well, the strap can easily be replaced with something I like better. I bought it for the bag anyway, and not the strap.

Been using this bag for work for the last couple months since my airline banned the use of backpacks(Oakley Flak Pack). Lots of storage compartments which is great, but makes it hard to remember where things are. :) Able to keep my Sigg .06L bottle in the side pocket. The perfect size for traveling and very durable. Do wish it had a dedicated sunglass compartment.
I got this bag 2 years ago and use it almost everyday to carry my MacBook Pro around. There are hardly any signs of wear on the bag. It has plenty of pockets to keep things organized. If you're looking for a bag that you can carry on your bike though, I would get something else. For everything else, I think you'll be hard pressed to find something better.
I love this computer bag. it is very stylish and very well built. I have had several bags that have simply fallen apart and were not very functional. The Oakley bag holds everything I want to carry and I feel like it will last forever. I didn't even mind the price...much!
i am currently working in bagdad iraq wondering if this bag is rugged enough to hold my gear.also are the pockets soft or hard also its really dusty will the flaps and pockets cover the openings well?
I worked in Bahrain for a couple years and know what you mean about the dust/ sand. I wish I had this bag over there. The whole bag Is soft, good zippers etc. It will work great over there!
Major improvement over earlier Oakley design, moving the messenger bag flap to the front of the bag to expose the zipper compartments. My last Oakley bag had the buckles on the flap break from overuse, so this design tweak is welcomed. The bag's got more pockets than I can fill...a very good problem to have. Very compact, but sneaky big on the inside...fits everything I need to carry on a regular basis and then some. My only complaint is the price point, but hey, you get what you pay for. If I can get 12 years worth of use out of this one, like I did on my last one, it will have been well worth the price. High scores for this bag.
This bag has more pockets and and folders than I know what to do with. It looks killer and holds my laptop very securely. The floating padding adapts to fit most laptops. The shoulder pad isn't very soft is my only complaint.
