Oakley's Bottlecap Polarized Sunglasses provide the optical protection you need to finish your ride, run or hike quickly, so you can hurry home and crack a cold one. The Bottlecap insists that you get out and workout before beginning the 40oz curls. The open-edge O Matter frame design delivers the maximum peripheral view while cutting down on the overall weight of the sunglass. These shades are great for high-speed sports where you've gotta keep an eye on changing terrain. Oakley's XYZ Optics offer unparalleled clarity as well as complete protection from UVA, UVB, and blue light. Meanwhile, the liquid fusion method of polarization keeps that opticalclarity intact while eliminating the glare produced by roads, water and snow.

Bottom Line: The faster you run your 10k trail workout, the sooner you can grab that beverage from the fridge.

Great for Men/Women, Medium/Small Faces

Both my hubby and I got the Polished Black/G30 Bottlecaps that were on Steep and Cheap (powered by Backcountry) a week ago. We were a bit concerned over the color of lenses for him (looked a bit too pink) but decided that at $49 each, to give them a try. The pink is only slightly so, with a blue reflective coating that is slighty translucent (not really mirrored). Hubby has a medium face and head, I have a small face and head and they look just right on both of us. They are light enough to not create pressure points, but heavy enough to not get jostled by the wind and the nose pads will not rip out your hair if you set them on top of your head. Great sunglasses!

Oakley got it right

I really like these shades. They don't have any of those rubber pads at the nose or the tempels. The rubber on Oakleys all ways seem to go bad and get sticky before I can conspire to lose them. Finally, here's a pair of sunnies that fit well and have lasted without altering states. Spend the extra dough and get the polarized.

These Oakleys are excellent. I had a pair before and lost them at sea. So I had an option to get a new style but the Bottlecap is an excellent style and has a really comfortable fit ! Besssss shades ! ! ! !

Great Shades

By:

These are great sunglasses, I bought these ~5 years ago and have worn them every day since. I have replaced the lenses once already and they are about due for another replacement. It is worth the money to get the polarized, especially if you spend any time at all on the water. They fit my face great and are lightweight enough to wear all day without even remembering they are on your face. Great pair of sunglasses.

Oakley Bottlecap glasses - great choice

By:

The thing I LOVE about these, besides the fit, is that there is no frame on the bottom, to obstruct your vision while cycling or running. Also, since they are open at the bottom, they don't steam up on a hot, humid day. I'm not sure if I'll love them skiing because of this. I have a smaller face, and these aren't huge. I think they would fit a medium face size well too.
