Oakley Big Square Wire Sunglasses - 2006 BCS

I purchased these Big Square Wire sunglasses with VR50 Gold Iridium lenses specifically for golf. According the Oakley, these lenses have a light transmission rate of 35%, which is not too dark and not too light. Since I already own a pair of B&L polarized sunglasses, I purposely wanted non-polarized lenses, which are supposedly better on the golf course (where a little bit of glare helps with depth perception and reading of the greens).

am sad to see that oakley has discontinued this design. great optical clarity and comfort. the gold iridium tinge adds a nice touch of class.

Great value and I love it. I didn't give a 5 because I feel nice pair of glasses like this should come with a hard case to protect it.

Just like my other Big Square wires these are a great addition to any wardrobe

these sunglasses are awesome. i have a big face (native american) and all my life had trouble finding cool glasses. everyone that sees them gives compliments. very classy, comfortable and a true eye-catcher. i love these glasses!

My wife thinks I look sexy in these glasses. I got lucky the first day I wore them. Besides that, they are comfortable and stylish at a fantastic price considering the brand.

Being introduced to Oakley in general was cool, but to discover that they have some eye wear models that fit big faces or a Stonehenge head like mine was fantastic!! This particular model is very cool, not the man from Mars and not that refined either. This is not a polarized model but still great in bright sun. If there is any gripe[small at that]I can't let them hang off my face like a pair of snug fitting Oakley Whiskers-ahh big deal- nice glasses

Solid construction, good lenses, could be darker. Gotten compliments on them and would buy again. AWESOME PRICE!

Purchased these as a gift to replace a pair of "Pharmacy Shades" They were a big hit. Cost a bit more than the "Pharmacy Shades" but they are an investment. We are actually not supposed to wear our oakley's in uniform, but when the gold bronze color and tint matches your desert cammies, it looks so tight! In the sand and sweat my big squares lasted a good 6 months of daily use. They are scratched and beaten and falling off but until I can get a new pair, I'll keep sporting em!

These glasses are perfect. Perfect fit, perfect lenses and perfectly cool!
