    So burley!

This case is so well built. It will keep everything inside of it safe. As you can see the serrated makes it super easy to shape it. You just rip the pieces off with ease. There is an inch pad along the bottom separate from the main foam. I absolutely recommend these.

      So burley!

      Safe Keeping

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Perfect for any essential you dont want to get wet dirty or dusty. These cases are bomber and have always been, pick and pull foam makes it easy to secure whatever you want in the case and if you decide to store other things, new foam inserts can easily be purchased. I use mine to store my gun and is easily lockable with a pad lock for safe keeping.

      Safe Keeping

      Bomb proof

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This case is great at keeping things dry and safe from drops and impacts. I got this for a dSLR camera for river trips - the 1200 size fits a Canon t1i with standard 18-55mm lens and a 55-250mm telephoto lens. It's a snug fit, but the perforated foam liner makes it really easy to get just the right shape for your gear. As others have said, this case is completely waterproof and gives great crush/ impact protection. The latches are really tight and it takes a bit of finger strength to open and close them, but that's par for the course with this kind of dry box

      Tough Case

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Nicely built, solid and dry! The 1200 is big enough to fit my DSLR (D90) and a couple of lenses, and small enough to slide into my ww kayak. I have had this case submerged for over an hour when my boat got a trashed and not a drop of water. Trust Pelican cases when you need to keep something 100% dry.

      Great gun case!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The 1200 size pelican case is the perfect size for my Ruger magnum .357 with the 5 inch barrel, and a small box of ammo! My only complaint would be the pull away foam could be cube cut down the square columns instead of pulling out the entire length. Then again perhaps that's what the other thinner, non pull apart foam layer is included for, to be cut to shape.

      Great gun case!

Great for handgun and ammo transport!

I have two of these cases when taking my handgun and ammunition on long trips or just to the range. The pick and pluck foam is very easy to work with as is but would recommend using a hot wire foam cutter if you tend to be a perfectionist. This fits my Sig P229 and two additional mags with ease and as far as ammunition 9 MTM 50 round cases w/ 40 gram desiccant or 10 cases without when short trips or moisture prevention will not be an issue. This case has three separate foam layers. One convoluted top layer in the lid, one 2 3/8 inch thick pick and pluck center layer and one 5/8 thick bottom layer. These cases are indestructible and worth every penny.

        Comparison between 1150, 1200, and 1400

Keep in mind you don't have to have whatever you are putting in the box laid flat like in the photo. Because these boxes are so deep you lay them on their side or standing up to make room to put other things in the boxes too.
