Take your good camera out on the water.

You have your SLR camera so you can take great photos, but you have yet to bring it on kayaking or sailing adventures for the obvious fear of water damage. Behold the NRS Aquapac 455 SLR Camera Case. This case uses an ultra-clear LENZFLEX lens window so you can take photos with your camera safely in the case. A Plexiglas lens in front keeps the lens window flat to decrease distortion and an air-tight seal means your camera will float if you get butterfingers or your kayak capsizes. This PVC-free case is waterproof to 15 feet.

Here's what others have to say...

can I use this case with a Canon Rebel t4i?

Best Answer Responded on

Hi Vee,

This case is compatible with any of Canon's Rebel line :) The maximum dimensions for this case are (body) 5.3 x 5.1 x 4.7 in, (max zoom lense) 3.2 in and yours is 5.2 x 3.1 x 3.9. Your camera will be a little loose in there but no so much to prevent taking fantastic photos!

Depending on what you're doing, you might really want to consider just using an iPhone in a waterproof case. I'm a photographer and while I don't do that many watersports, I know that when I do I really struggle with handling anything too big.

I find that underwater in particular you're going to suffer for light--and unless you've bought a much better lens for your t4i than the stock one, then the iPhone is going to give you better low-light performance. Also, you're probably carrying your phone anyway, need to waterproof it... etc.

I'm trying to find an affordable shallow depth (less than 10ft) waterproof case for my friend for her birthday. She has a Canon Rebel mark 3. Would this work?

Hi Taylor, the dimensions of the full frame Canon 5d MkIII body are 5.98 x 4.57 x 2.99? It looks like that camera is a little wide for this Case.

Hi, I have Nikon Coolpix P510, the dimensions are 4.5 x 3 x 4.5 (6.5 max zoom lense).Could I use this housing ?

Responded on

Since the dimensions of the Max zoom length is 3.2 in you could come into some issues, especially since I have a feeling your minimum zoom length might be to long for this case.

I'm participating in the La Tomatina festival this summer-I'm guessing since it's waterproof, it would also be tomato-proof?

Responded on

Most definitely! That should be a great time and hopefully you'll be able to get some great photos. You will probably want to keep some water on hand to rinse the tomatoes off if it gets covered so you can still see through it.

Nope. That's never gonna fit. Need a pro-sumer body for this case... like a Rebel.

I have a Nixon D90, and I would like to know if this case will fit?

Best thing to do is measure the body of your D90 and compare it to the [BODY] spec measurements we list. Once you've determined that the body will fit attach a small zone or prime (like a 50mm) to the body and compare the Max Lens and Max Diameter measurements that we list as well.

Fit all depends on the size of the lens you're trying to fit in the pouch really. A D90 is one of Nikon's smaller bodies so I don't anticipate that you would have a problem. To be absolutely sure please measure though.

For anyone wondering, this won't fit a Nikon D300.Bummer!

Specs from Nikon:
Approx. Dimensions Width 5.8 in. (147mm)
Height 4.5 in. (114mm)
Depth 2.9 in. (74mm)

D90 will be tight if the product dimensions are 100% usable. You'd have to use a fixed prime lens or a cheap zoom at most.
Approx. Dimensions Width 5.2 in. (132mm)
Height 4.1 in. (103mm)
Depth 3.0 in. (77mm)
