Vetta Snowboard Binding - Women's

Team riders, Helen Schettini and Robin Van Gyn were tired of settling for men's bindings that weren't designed for their bodies, so they convinced Now to create the Women's Vetta Snowboard Binding. The first women-specific binding based on the now-legendary IPO platform, the Vetta crushed everything from powder to park while delivering next-level comfort and response.

The Hanger baseplate has a hinge, inspired by the dynamics of a skateboard truck, that acts as a fulcrum to quickly and efficiently transfer energy from edge to edge. This means that instead of flexing your baseplate on turns, all of your energy goes directly to the edge, ultimately reducing foot fatigue and leg pain while improving response. Bushings at the contact points between the baseplate and the board reduce chatter for a smoother ride and prevent board breakage. The Vetta's baseplate has a lower fiberglass content than the IPO for a softer flex that's tailored to women's weight and riding styles.

Women's calves typically sit lower on their legs than men, so Now gave the Vetta a Flex Hinge highback that flexes in the middle to prevent calf bite without compromising support or response. New Sieva straps feature spineless EVA construction for a flexible feel that locks your foot down without causing pressure points. Flushcup technology makes the highback sit above the heelcup so that the back of your boot is flush with both the highback and the heelcup, which not only improves response, but also gives you the option of riding highback-less with the Highcup insert (not included) for the ultimate surfy feeling. Buckles 2.0 throw four notches at a time so you can strap in more quickly. It's finished off with an ultra-durable forged aluminum disc that's compatible with both four-hole mounts and the Channel system so you can switch it between boards with minimal effort.
