Northwave put a fleece-lined, moldable boot liner inside its opulent Opal SL Snowboard Boot. This cozy liner with a cinch lace not only warms your toes, it also provides exceptional support and comfort by locking your heel in place and heat-molding to the shape of your feminine foot. Once snugly in your liner, adjust the fit of your Opal Boot’s shell—get a custom fit around your instep and above your ankle by pulling separately on the two pull laces. A rubber sole gives you grip in the snow when you’re not strapped on your board, and an EVA midsole along with Airshock arch support pads your foot.
Bottom Line: Plush comfort and solid support co-exist in this gem of a boot.

I bought these boots at the beginning of this season. I have been riding for most of my life and these boots far exceeded my wildest expectations. They are stiff enough to hike the backcountry all day, yet comfortable enough for rippin groomers all day long. When I am hanging out in the lodge I forget to loosen them because they are like wearing slippers. If you want to take these amazing boots to the next level I suggest putting a heat moldable foot bed such as "Sole" in them with arch supports. If you are thinking about buying these boots do yourself a favor and stop waiting! Buy these puppies and your feet will thank you.
