Description

Team rider favorite.

It's not hard to see why the Decade SL Men's Snowboard Boot is preferred choice of the Northwave team. The Super Lace lacing system makes it a breeze to adjust the tightness of the upper and lower zones of the boots so you can crank it down when you're getting gnarly in the backcountry and loosen it up when you want to get jibby in the park. Northwave also collaborated with The Levitation Project to make a special colorway that shows your support for one of the coolest movements in snowboarding.

  • Super Lace speed lacing system allows you to independently tighten the upper and lower zones of your boot quickly for a customized fit
  • 540° Heel Retention System has webbing attached to the laces that cinches around the ankle to lock your heel down when the laces are tightened
  • Double Crossbow EVA outsole is lightweight and is designed to enhance board feel, and Vibram rubber inserts increase traction on icy surfaces
  • TF3 heat-moldable liner has a speed-lacing system for a firm hold, a power strap for support, and a seamless toe area for increased comfort
  • EVA footbed with side supports offers better thermal insulation and shock absorption

Does anyone know how Northwave tends to fit? Like if I took a 9 in Burton would I generally be a 9 in Northwave?

Northwave is more of like a show fit type boot. Burton uses shrink fit where the sole is actually shorter to reduce heel and toe drag. northwave is a wider fit type boot. If your a 10 you should get a 10.5 in this boot

I have a narrow foot, and used to have a hard time finding snowboard boots that fit me correctly and kept my heels locked in place. I would go the same size you wear in street shoes..... DON'T size up. I wear 10.5/11 in street shoes, and 11 in NW boots is too large. The 10.5 is perfect.
