Spank ’em with a Lizzard.
Slip your planks into North Wave’s Lizzard Pro S.B.S. Bike Shoe and, on the next epic climb, give your riding crew a good tear-jerking spanking. Stiff JAWS sole transfers all your energy and provides positive traction when portaging un-rideable sections. To keep your feet cool, North Wave designers styled out the Lizzard Pro with air-mesh inserts, and to keep your feet comfortable they used the secure, pressure-distributing S.B.S. ratcheting system.

I wear a size 9 1/2 US. is the sizing chart used for these shoes?
These turned out to be great shoes for the money. The quality is good and looks are great.

I'm currently riding the standard Lizzard Pro. Considering the Lizzard Pro SBS -- is the only difference the ratchetted clasp? Do they fit the same? I'm quite happy with the std shoe, but at this sale price I'm wondering if I should upgrade.
great shoes--- love them
order one size larger than the chart recommends... the shoes are great and i love the ratchet a great price too I use them with eggbeaters set them on the 15 degree release
Good for the Pirce
I used these shoes for about 10 rides and thought they were alright. The sizing is a little smaller so I would size up by about a size. Tightening/loosening the shoe in mid ride works great with the S.B.S. micro buckle. They are stiff and and have decent power transfer from foot to pedal. I found that the sole was very narrow making them feel a little unstable and giving the impression of a smaller pedaling platform compared to other shoes I have used. The instability/ weird fit might be due to the thin foot bed which probably could be replaced by superfeet or something similar to solve the issue. Nonetheless, these are good shoes for the price and will do the job.
True to size
The free shipping was suppose to take 7 to 14 days, but 2 days later I have them in my hot little hands, just in time for the weekend, awesome!
Put the frogs cleats on them, managed to mount them without trimming the bottom as I did with my old Sidi, I like! They are stiff, which means more power to the pedal, but no problem walking in them, the ratchets do stick out a bit, but not too bad. They feel comfy so far, have to get a few rides in to see how they really are.
Just noticed you now get a free Cutter Y key wrench, oh well, two days too early, but I get to ride this weekend, woohoo!
I've been riding with these shoes and I love them!
I've had these for about 2 months now and they are awesome. The ratchet makes it very easy to adjust mid ride, and has proved to be durable so far. Sole is stiff and had good tread. The sizing is a little off though. I ended up going with a full euro size bigger than what the chart recommends. The fit is slightly wider than normal which I like, seems to be in between the SIDI's normal and wide (Mega) size width. I ordered these and the Dominator 5's, but sent the Dom 5's back because these fit better, and are very comparable despite the huge price difference.
Wide is good!
Although these do not state that they are wide the other reviews stating they have good width caught my attention. I have NW snowboarding boots that aren't as roomy as these cycling shoes. I usually go with a 4E width so I'm definitely happy and the construction.
