It often seems there is a disconnect between affordability and performance when it's time to purchase new cycling shoes. There are however, exceptions like the Northwave Fighter Shoe. The body of the Fighter Shoe rests on a lightweight, carbon-reinforced sole designed to maximize stiffness and power transfer throughout each pedal stroke. A polyurethane upper is combined with durable Airmesh material for optimal ventilation. The Fighter straps are all hook-and-loop for solid cinching, and left buckle-free for less weight, because yes, performance matters, even if you aren't selling your first born to finance your cycling fetish.

Nice shoe but runs small

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs small

Shoe looked great and had everything I wanted. The only problem is I went by the Northwave Size Chart that put me at a 42 or 42.5 (I'm a 9.5 to 10 US depending on sneaker brand). Those sizes were too small for me and I found out that I'm really a 43 in NW. Cool shoe but be sure to try them on at your LBS first or order a full size up from what the chart says.
