Wear the Norrona Men's Trollveggen Down 750 Jacket for frigid days on the mountain. Developed primarily for ice-cold bivouacs during challenging climbs and other high-mountain activities, this jacket utilizes an Aero down-proof shell that's soft and breathable yet water-repellent and wind-resistant. Made with recycled polyester, this shell meets Norrona's standards of minimizing its footprint on the environment we all love to play on. This jacket uses some of the loftiest 750-fill down insulation around to keep you nice and toasty at belay stances, and Norrona also covered critical areas with synthetic PrimaLoft Infinity insulation to eliminate any cold spots.
The Trollveggen also features a storm hood that slides over your helmet or cinches across your head with a simple, one-handed adjustment, and it has a wire brim to keep the hood out of sight while you belay your partner. Its Packable pocket allows you to compress this jacket and clip it to your harness if the day warms up. Elasticized cuffs seal across your wrists to keep the sleeves off your hands and seal out any cold drafts. Because backcountry.com is the exclusive US retailer for Norrona products, you won't see too many people on the mountain sporting the same jacket.
