Norrøna crafted the Women's Trollveggan Warm2 Stretch Pullover Jacket with soft, stretchy, highly wind-resistant fleece. A smooth fit makes it layer wonderfully under a shell jacket, but it also breathes exceptionally well as a single layer during alpine aerobic pursuits.

Here's what others have to say...

Nice piece

I can't comment on the other reviews that say the piece is short as I am 5'5" so I don't have a long torso or long arms, but I do agree that the arms are a bit loose. I could probably wear another snug fitting base layer underneath for those really cold days. Other than the slight "loose-ness" of the arms, I think that it's a great layering piece. I am 5'5 125lbs and got a medium. I probably could have gotten away with a small, but reading other reviews about the short torso/arms, I went up to a medium.

    This is a kiddie piece!!

    • Gender:Female
    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

While i have nothing but the greatest to say about most norrona gear i have tried, this is probably the worst design i have seen from Norrona. Like Lilo, I am 5'11" /155 lbs with small upper body and long monkey arms. I could use a couple of extra inches in sleeve length and torso length. This will fit a really short woman fine and my tall 6 year old daughter maybe. There is no way i can put my thumbs through thumb loops, unless I somehow disfigure my body. Also, when I ski, I prefer to keep my lower torso covered, first layer tucked into my ski pants for extra warmth in that area. this top will not even tuck into high waisted granny panties. Definitely a no go for anybody taller than 5 feet or so, for the rest of you...have at it! The quality and color availability are great, as with all Norrona gear, just a design /sizing flaw.

    great for layering

I wore this pullover as second layer (over thin base) under ski jacket while skiing in east (9 degrees F) and stayed nice and warm, but did not feel too constricted. Size Medium is a great fit for me 5'4" 138 pounds athletic build. Bought in red and now buying the black.

A miss from a great brand

Agree with the other reviewers, this p/o is a miss. Got it in my usual size. While the body fits great, if not a tad short, the sleeve is loose all the way from the upper bicep to the wrist. The sleeves are also quite short that I can't get into the thumb holes, and I haven't got monkey arms. I also found it hard to believe that this is Warm2 (fabric is very thin) and supposedly very wind resistant (from norrona website). I've got their Warm1 fleece and it feels far warmer than this piece. It does look quite sporty, the red is an awesome color, along with the birch green zipper. But alas, this line must be designed for a different body type.

        Not all that!

I got this top in red. I was expecting a snug fit since I am using it as a baselayering, but to my surprise it is a bit loose and in the arms too.

          Sleeves and torso really short

I am a tall girl 5'11" and 155# and ordered this one in large. Sleeves are way too short and torso barely comes to my belly button - which is a tall girls worst nightmare. I can't even put my thumb holes on. Other than the size, I love the color red and the pocket and the material is really soft and warm (fleece lined). I love norrona products, because they usually come with long sleeves - not the case here. It might work for you if you are tiny or a child though.
