NIce but too big
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: M
I'm 178cm / 70kg and bought M size. I found it really too big for me, this is also big for heavier and a little bit taller friends (f.e. 185cm / 83kg). I brought it to Slovakia from U.S. and have no possibilieties to change it or return back :(
Great Jacket, size down
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs large
I am 5'11" (1.8m) 165lbs (75kg) and I initially bought the medium. I found it to be a little to big for me and the fit was baggy. Maybe this is the intention of the fit, but I went down to a small and was happier. The small is a little snug, but looks better.
Front pocket would really only hold a rolled up magazine. All around though, nice jacket. Looking forward to using it this winter. Also orange peel is a bit of a misnomer as it is the same color red you see in the picture
Ideal blend of functionality and style
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Me - 185cm/85kgs
Size - medium
Colour - Phantom/Magma
I've had this anorak for a week and I'm really enjoying it. As my title suggests, it looks great (photo to come) and will keep the functional types happy too.
It's really comfortable on top of a T-shirt or other base layer. It's light enough that you don't really notice you're wearing a pretty durable and protective piece. I've walked through a few city parks with it on and it keeps the elements out really well. Wind resistance is good and it breathes surprisingly well too. I doubt it would be suitable for high energy pursuits but it wasn't designed for that.
I gave it 3 stars because I've only had it for a week, haven't had an opportunity to really test it out. However, I do expect it to get more stars on my next review.
UPDATE: OK I've had this for a while now and I've worn it almost everyday in this autumn weather. It's ideal for this shoulder season with a mid layer underneath. The anorak moves nicely with my body with the extra layer and it does an excellent job of keeping the wind out. Not wind proof but very resistant to cold winds. I like the velcro cuffs, they're robust and do the job they're supposed to. Overall I think this is an excellent product and I'll be wearing it throughout winter too.
I just received this anorak, and I am very happy with the result. The material used for this Anorak is extremely comfortable and it protects you well against wind. I bought the grey one, but be aware that it is really a more darker kind of brownish colour. It doesn't really matter though, because I like the original colour more than the colour on the photo.
I would definately recommend this product.

I'm 170 cm/70 kg, but chest is about 100 cm. Can someone tell me the size of M will I need? Or maybe S?
Chest size is the best to go on when sizing a jacket. The Small size will really fit up to about a 96 cm chest while the Medium fits up to a 104 cm chest. In your case I would go with that Medium.

I'm tall 177 cm and weight 83 kg , chest 104~105----M or L size?
I'm 185 cm tall but have a similar chest size to you. My medium is perfect for me, there's space underneath for a light fleece on cold days but it's not super baggy. It may cover a bit more of your rear end compared to me.

Is the pocket in front large enough to hold an iPad? How about a 13" laptop? Yes, I am a huge dork.
Absolutely not. The pocket is very shallow, like 3.5 inches. Enough room for a phone and other bits and pieces only.
