Norrøna built the Women’s Stranda Dri 2 Insulated Pant with articulated legs to allow you full range of motion, with plenty of warmth and minimal bulk. The Strada Dri 2 Pant’s 20K-rated waterproofing won’t let you feel a drop of moisture even in the winter’s burliest storms, and side vents and breathable fabric fend off perspiration. Norrøna’s specially designed synthetic Clo insulation offers the warmth of higher-loft insulation with less volume.

I am a curvy 5'10", 185#, and usually wear a women's pant size 14. I have Arc'Teryx bibs in size L that fit quite nicely. However, I ordered these in an XL. They fit perfectly and size L would have been too tight. I ordered the purple with teal zippers; they are definitely on the steazy side with the contrasting color, but they're fun! The insulation is nice as I bought them specifically for resort skiing. Overall I think they look and fit great. And you know how hard it is to find fabulous and functional ski pants!

Hi, 5'6 135 lbs - but I have pretty athletic thighs (skinny legged pants tend to be way too tight in that area). I usually wear a Medium - 8 comfortably, but a 6 sometimes too. I was going to get a Medium, but am wondering if a small would be better? I'm tired of baggy ski pants and am worried the Mediums will be too loose.

so far so good

I have skiied in these about 20 times so far. I have gotten some compliments on them. My only complaint is that I wish the leg vents had nets on them. When you are skinning or hiking the snow goes down your leg and right into your ski boot.
The high waist band also takes a bit of getting used too. But so far they have been good temperature wise, easily to layer under on cold days, and no rips from brushing against trees.

Run large

By:

I ordered this pant in a small (5'5", 125 lb) and they were plenty big. Nice features and a very nice cut. (Wine color) The turquoise zippers are not just on the front, the thigh zippers, lower leg zipper, and back zippers are also turquoise with a patch of turquoise cloth around the back zipper. It's an odd combination, but I'm getting used to it.

I am 5'5" and maybe 115. Ordered XS. Yes, they run large, at least in XS. Due to the design, It is not possible for me to cinch the waist enough. May try to have the velcro moved over. Longer length than you get with XS in say patagonia -- which I consider a plus.

Sizing

If compared to an Arcteryx MEDIUM sized jacket and pant, you should not go for the LARGE Norrona one. That's what made me change the both.

Anyways, worn medium like this, the norrona jacket and pants are still sporting a loose fit, just looking awesome.
