Norrøna Roldal Jacket - Men's - 2011 BCS

ive been using norrøna outerwear for years now and always been happy, bought this jacket back in norway and im super stoked with the fit on this jacket. im 173cm tall and went with a large jacket and pant cuz by bumping it up a size it gives you a åwsome fitt that even jibber kids are envyous about (in a good way)... but im a little pissed that even thou norrøna is a norwegian company their gear still is a lot cheaper in the us payed about 900 dollars just for this jacket.

I have to admit. Over 600 bones for a jacket is a bunch of cash. That stated, all I can say is WOW. I was not expecting such a great piece of gear! The fit and finish are amazing, unlike any other jacket I have owned. The Jacket perform incredible. I just went through a major blizzard in Md. I was on my 4 wheeeler all day plowing against 40-60 mph wind gust with a sustained 20mph. The temp was in the teens not including the wind chill factor. I wore a single smart-wool long sleeve basic, and my newest addition the Norrona Roldal. I have to say, I honestly thought I would not last more than two hours. WRONG. I was never cold or hot. The breath-ability of the jacket was excellent. I was perfectly comfortable while riding up the road at 35 mph against 40-60 gusts. As I was riding up the road, I could see the gusts blowing the snow across the road in front of me and fully expected the feel the gripping coldness penetrate my shell. I was thankfully wrong. I truly cannot say enough about this jacket. It has exceeded all my expectations more than I could have imagined. If you are on the fence, and want a lasting jacket that will keep you warm and protect you from all the elements (Rain, Sleet, Snow and Wind)... than you found the perfect one. Buy it, you will definitely not regret your purchase!

Works amazingly well. Many practical pockets, insulates incredibly well. It is thin, but keeps you warm in -15 degrees Celsius, with only thermal underwear under.
