Love!

This jacket is perfect and I will wear it for years and years! Norrona quality is top notch and it shows on this piece. I'm 5'9 and 135lbs and the M was a good fit (enough room to layer). I bought the Norrona pants (pink) to zip it together with this piece= bombproof against pow! I bought the Caviar colour and have no regrets!

    Very nice!

Really love this jacket. It has a perfect fit for a tall and slim body type. I usually have issues getting jackets that have long enough arms, but I have never had that issue with Norrøna products.

      Great quality. Highly recommended.

I'm 5'8, 135lbs and a size small in this jacket is a perfect fit.

really wanted to love it 2

I second kikiwv. My Arcteryx stuff is getting worn after 4 years and 400 days of skiing, and I was excited to get new gear. The Norrona ski pants and polar fleece I ordered are great, but this jacket, however well made, is a fit nightmare. Too long, fiddly zipper, wacky hood, funny neck fit, huge around the middle, and the cuff is peculiar. All in all, it seemed like it actually might fit a guy better. However, I'm really stoked by the quality of Norrona products, and only wish I could have ordered the insulated performance shell jacket that I wanted in the first place -- out of my size. Xmas returns anyone?

Agree with this posting. I found the fit very awkward. I am a more curvy woman, so perhaps that is why. I went with another performance Norrona shell instead which has been perfect for me. This was too long, felt stiff, and awkward fit for me.

        really wanted to love it.

Beautiful jacket, but completely overdone. Too many buttons, not terribly glove friendly (the main zipper is a bit tricky), and the hood is ridiculous. It doesn't fit a helmet, and it could do without the extra closure on the front. I really love my Norrona pants, they fit amazing, but this jacket misses in several places when it comes to a women's fit. Lots of ladies out there have hips and a butt, especially true skier ladies. I got a L in this jacket and there is a ton of room in the top and sleeves, but this jacket is pretty long making the butt area constricting. Maybe it would work for me if it were 2 inches shorter. I was looking for a new storm riding jacket, and unfortunately this one will not be it.

          Grey not white!

The "metal" color is gray, not white, and it's sort of . . . textured, like a subtle tweed. Not the solid, saturated color of the other Norrona items I looked at. Still, all the details were well done . . . just didn't expect, or like, the color here.

            Love it!

              The jacket is lovely.
I got it in white, but you should know that it's actually not white, but grey. Much more convenient and a really nice colour :) I usually wear size small/medium so i bought it in medium to be sure that i can fit a big, warm sweather underneath - perfect size for me!

Hey there! I have a very long waist and I...

Hey there! I have a very long waist and I have a really hard time finding jackets. For those of you that own it, is it longer than other technical jackets? I was on their site and I see that it's a "freeride" jacket but I just need to know! Thanks!
