I ordered this jacket in a medium, and it...

I ordered this jacket in a medium, and it was too bulky in the chest area (even accounting for some layering) and uncomfortable under the arms because of too much fabric. I am 5'7" and 135lbs, 36A chest, 29" waist, 38" hips, with long arms (the sleeve length in the medium was great). Is it worth me trying the small, or would I be better off with a different brand? How does the sizing of this jacket compare to the Narvik Down 750 jacket? I am looking for a very warm ski jacket.

Like the other reviewer. I am tall. This jacket fits me well. Yes the arms are long enough. The fit is just part of why I love this jacket. The details great. Pockets were you need them. The pockets for your hands are lined with a nice soft fabric to help dry off and warm them up. The cut doesn't make you look like a tent yet has room for layers and is long.

I'm 6 ft tall with long limbs and the L fit perfectly! Beautiful red color...great fit...sleeves are long enough to keep my wrists covered as I ski.. I had to get used to the longer length..but now I love it and it is comfortable. I'm thrilled with this jacket!

I have average-length arms. THe sleeves on this jacket were at least 6-8 inches past my knuckles. Also, the jacket looks like it'd be a little longer than just past my backside. I'm 5'7", weigh 135, and am of typical proportions. I thought the jacket fit very oddly. The fabric seems to be very high quality, but it's a huge expanse for such odd proportions.

It does tend to fit leaner and longer women better.

I bought this one in blue and loved it so much, that i had to have itin red as well. very practical, great for tall girls with long torsos and long arms. Very lightweight for the warmth it povides. I don't know why anybody would still want to buy Canada Goose (heavy!!) after trying this one in action. Well worth the full retail price.

Price is indeed steep, but this jacket is worth it in my opinion. just great. I am 5'11" and 155 lbs and got the xl, could have gotten away with a large, but wanted long sleeves and sure coverage of my big arse for cold days. Arse is covered, but not much more. On the picture it looks longer for some reason. Love the materal, the lightweightness of it and the texture (it's kind of heathered, not a flat color as shown on the pic). I went with the iceberg blue and it is slightly more turqoise than shown on my computer. I totally adore it . Norrona does not disappoint with the colors and craftsmanship. Love the main zipper, the hoodie is very roomy and will fit a helmet, and has gaiters, if adjustment is needed. Plenty of pockets with 2 internal pockets and removable snow skirt. Compresses really small considering the insulation and all of the features.Very roomy, so i will be able to move freely and layer for worst days. I can't say enough good about it. Huge improvement from last year's version!!!

As of today all prices of new norrona gear went up 10%, which now makes the norrona website cheaper and that is with with $20 shipping to u.s. and duties. WTF?

Hi Kara,

No scam going on (Norrona's site does not account for tax & duty so when you look at their site it's misleading)...just the unfortunate cost of getting this stuff into the US from Europe for our customers (we are the only US retailer you can get it from on the web or in a brick n' mortar).

Thanks for your question Kara & for your involvement in community!

Cheers,
