Color and Size
- Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit:Runs small
I bought these gloves (size XL, Jungle Fever) and received them yesterday. First, the color on the website is much lighter and lime-green color, than the actual. The gloves are the same as the "Norrona / 29 Logo Beanie" also on this website described as Chrome Green. It looks good, just different than what I expected.
Second, the sizing runs a bit small. I measured my hand length (palm to tip of middle) at just below 8 inches. Therefore, I should of gotten the large, but the XL fit snugly.
Hope this helps.
Norrona's New Narvik Collection
Haven't used it yet
But the Nordic Sea color is almost a teal color in real life. I wish they made this one with Gore-Tex and maybe a tad more insulation... it feels too light to keep me warm, but I'll give it a run and post any updates.
I actually sent them back before using, how did they fare for you?
Where's the short version?
So far I like them, I go through gloves fairly fast so we'll see how they handle. Green stiching is a tiny bit off, just like the stiching inside my flex 3 jacket. You can tell where the excess fabric wasn't cut perfectly.
Not a bad pair of gloves so far only used in 15-25 degree days. Really like the wrist cuff thing for when you take them off. I am not a fan of the gauntlet long style.
Backcountry when will you carry the short version?
Hey Jer,
To check out the short version of this glove, search NRA0297 or "Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Short Glove" and you'll find what you're looking for.
Lofoten aren't insulated as much and don't have the same fit. There's a narvik short version. Would be great if you carried those.

Just got these and am considering sending back. Have they been able to keep you warm? I will be using them in Montana skiing in two weeks and want to make sure i am not making a mistake.
