    Very nice warm glove

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this glove to wear over a pair of liners that I already own. So while I usually wear a Medium in gloves and my hand measures 7.5 I went up a size to accommodate my liner and it fits perfect. This glove keeps my hands nice and toasty, almost too warm. I would highly recommend!

soft shell; very warm, runs small

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are flexible with a soft shell fabric exterior, but very warm. I found them to run a bit small. I am female and purchased the unisex extra large. I typically wear a unisex Large size mitten/glove but they would have been too small in this style.
Can't wait to put them to use next winter.

Super warm ... almost too warm

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I bought these mittens after my hands were dying in my BD Legend gloves on a sub-zero day at Stowe. One of the best purchases I've made. Even on a -20 day with whipping winds at Jay Peak, these guys kept my hands super toasty inside and kept the snow and slush out. The leashes are one of the greatest features, so I never have to worry about losing a mitten on the lift or in the lodge. The soft nose wipe is also great to get rid of the drip without rubbing your nose raw.

Don't wear these on warmer and more active days, because your hands will quickly overheat and sweat. My one qualm is that they don't dry very quickly or easily (would be great to be able to pull them inside out to dry). If I sweat too much and they get damp, they'll still be slightly wet the next day unless I put them near a fan or something.

All things considered, super warm and comfy mittens with great features!

I love norrona, sort of obsessed with it, but for good reason. I bought these because the norrona gloves just weren't cutting it on the -20 windchill days. So I decided lets get some mittens. I purchased these and love em. I use them to teach ski lessons so they get a lot of use. They keep my hands nice and warm and are not bulky. They are not good on spring days because my hands get too hot.

    Norrona is Awesome

I now have several Norrona pieces thanks to Backcountry. Quality and fit are excellent. This one in particular is nice as a mitten for skiing here in Colorado at 12,000'. I not not bought many American brands like Patagonia or Black Diamond since discovering some better stuff from Europe like Norrona. Love these better than any similar products I have gotten from Black Diamond or Arcteryx . They are not PL1, but keep my hands warm at the top of the Rockies.

I noticed that the image of the mitten in "tasty red" has a wrist leash. Does the "caviar" mitten have that as well? Thanks,
