Almost perfect jacket!

After wanting a Norrona jacket for 2 years, I finally bought this one. I got the light blue one. I was a bit in doubt, since I'm not a fan of light colors, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that the color was a lot darker and more blue/turquoise than I expected.

The fit is great, slightly fitted. I got the L, since I'm close to 1.8m tall and I like some length in the back and in the arms. The hood fits nicely over a helmet, but also looks good when not up, since you can adjust it. I also like the asymmetrical arm cuffs, that keeps your hands nicely warm and protected.

I wore this jacket during a 1 week backcountry snowboarding trip and it was perfect for that. It was not that cold, but whenever it gets a bit chilly, simply combine it with a light down jacket and you're very comfy again. I felt much more flexible wearing this jacket, even when layering up, than I have ever felt in any other jacket. The only downside of this jacket would be the placement of the vents and the pockets that are inside those vents, that is not the most practical.

I can't say much yet about durability of the fabric, but it feels very strong. Overall, I'm a happy camper in this jacket!

    A TRUE skier's jacket!

Best technical ski jacket EVER - truly made for a skier's needs! Intuitive pockets, stretchy thumb holes and extended wrist gaiters keep out snow and drafts when at high sppeds, helmet hood has internal plastic strip/lining so it does not collapse on face. I have long arms that make many jackets too small and most often leave me cold & drafty at the wrist, but this jacket is perfect. Plus - the colors rock and I get comments in line ALL the time. Well worth the money. I wish Backcountry had more in stock & more colors - all my local friends want one! Runs a little big so size down if in question.

I bought some Norrona pants and they have...

I bought some Norrona pants and they have a zip in powerskirt that attaches by zip to a jacket and the pants to make a snow-proof barrier. Do all Norrona jackets have the powder skirt that zips to the pants??? I would love to invest in the jacket that will zip together with my pants. Thanks.
