What is the center back length of this jacket, looking for something at least 30 inches long.
Worth every penny.

I am 6' tall and 145 LBs. I have what I refer to as tall girl problems. Most of my life I've worn men's small ski jackets. I've had exactly 2 (before this one). They were both North Face Mens Smalls. This was fine until I realized that although I have a very narrow frame, my hips are still bigger than a small mans. SO the jackets bunched in the middle.
This jacket is perfect. I bought a Large based on other reviews on the size and it is roomy enough to layer.
I ski in Vermont. Cold, windy, icy conditions. I am perfectly warm in this jacket.
1. Sleeve cuffs are wide enough to fit over my mittens without struggling.
2. The hood fits over my Poc Bug helmet without a problem, you do have to unzip the jacket about 4 inches to do so, but once you are zipped back up it is incredible! My goggles are the only thing exposed on those cold lift rides.
3. The jacket itself is long enough through the torso so when my hands are above my head reaching for the bar or anything else, it doesn't ride up.
4. I have worn it 3 times and already had numerous compliments on the look of it from complete strangers in the lift line.
The jacket is expensive and I swore I'd never spend this much. I would spend even more for this jacket. It's awesome.
The only downfall is that the powder skirt does not zip out. This is HARDLY a deal breaker since everything else about it was so great.

What does the "Red Tasty" color look like? Is it true to the picture?
Hi, thank you for your question.
Yes, the color will be very close to the picture- if anything, just slightly more dull (as sometimes the photos get a little blown out). Please let us know if we can assist you with anything else!

This a wonderful jacket. I prefer shell jackets for maximum versatility for layering. It has a very light poly/fleece lining, but it is not insulated. It's a very attractive jacket. At 175 cm and 62 kg (28 inch waist, 37 hips), I am very similar proportions to the model in the Norrona video and bought a medium in jungle green (which is a tiny bit brighter and lighter than the picture). It fits me well, streamlined but with room for layering, but I have to say that the sleeves are quite long. This is great for me, since I am tall and have accordingly long arms, but if you're petite this could be a problem. The jacket is comfortable, the hood roomy, and super dry. The construction is very high quality. Keep up the good work, Norrona.

Got this jacket back in Dec. 2011 and have spent the last 2 years in love with it! The wrist gaiters sealed the deal, making snow impenetrable to my under layers! Playing all day in the powder, the Gore-Tex held up quite well and I always sprayed my jacket again after each washing (washing this jacket was very easy too)! The inner chest pocket nicely fits my Iphone, money, and a pair of head phones (ear buds). The hood fits over my helmet (Giro) and the front of the jacket comes up quite a bit covering my face on those windy days! The waist drawstring adjusts easily (tight or loose). Vents in my jacket are placed at the front/side by the armpit and are pretty big with nice mesh(that can sometimes get caught in the zipper when in a hurry). Overall, I haven't been disappointed yet!
For sizing, I"m 5'9",~130 lbs, and I wear a size small in this jacket. I first ordered a medium but found it to be too loose for me. I normally wear a dry-fit t-shirt, merino wool half zip, and a down layering jacket with this jacket on my coldest days.
