Bottom Line: A tough yet cozy soft performance mid-layer for mountain sports.
Super awesome fleece. The Blue Sapphire is a much lighter and crisp blue, but looks great nonetheless. Very comfortable. Sleeves are just long enough to cover your knuckles while using the thumb hole. Sizing is just a tad smaller than expected, but has a great athletic fit that doesn't hamper mobility.
Nicely made fleece that pairs well with the rest of the Lofoten system. Wrists feature thumbloops and a thin panel to use the jacket thumbloops. Chest pocket is nicely place. Like most Norrona stuff it's a bit expensive for what you get. For the $190 you get a fleece jacket that's not much different than the others. The "classic green" matches the green zippers on the other Lofoten gear, i.e it's a bright green.

How does sizing for this specific fleece work? I have viewed other norrona products and some say the fit is large, some say smaller, and same say the same as most other brands such as TNF and Arc'teryx (Im a medium). I am 160lbs and 5'8" - the sizing chart says I would be a small, but one reviewer said this jacket runs one size smaller.
Its on the smaller side of the spectrum, but for layering id say its fairly true to size if you have an average build...if you prefer a looser fit size up as it is somewhat fitted and has no elasticity around the waist...im 5'11" 185 and generally wear a large in performance type of clothing, large fits great
It's a nice jacket, but still just a fleece jacket. Slim fit, nice features, and seems to hold up well. I mostly wear mine as an outer layer, as I find it too warm as a mid-layer on all but the coldest of days.
At full price, I find it a bit expensive for what it is, but if you find it on sale, get it.
This fleece is really warm, super cozy/comfy. I wear it all the time--just as a jacket and a couple times under my ski jacket. I bought it for it's tight euro cut and high collar. Both are what I expected and like. I wear this around (in the Lime Green color that's not for sale anymore) and constantly get comments/questions about it. People love touching it!
while i wont need it for a few months, i can tell ill love it, super warm, soft, and quality. Cant speak to durability but it seems well constructed. Looks like itll be perfect for the outdoors and the indoors. Note, the blue is a bit brighter teal color than seen here. Looks very nice though, especially the texture. Side paneling lookd a bit off, but really aids arm mobility. Sizing is on the smaller side.
