Complete and total protection.
In the harshest of ski conditions, staying dry and covered is crucial to your survival. For the ultimate protection against the elements, the Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell One Piece Suit is in a class of its own. This durable, minimalistic one piece is constructed with two types of Gore-Tex Pro Shell. The upper half features a new ripstop stretch face fabric for greater mobility, while the lower part features a durable hardshell design with super-strong Aramid lower leg reinforcement. With the Gore-Tex construction and one-piece design, you can be confident that absolutely no weather will be able to penetrate the shell or reach your body, no hatter how harsh the conditions are or how long they persist.
For even more weather protection, the Lofoten one-piece has built-in
wrist and boot gaiters and a helmet-compatible storm hood with one hand
tightening. Asymmetrical cuffs provide a
better glove interface, and Y-Sleeves are designed with extra gusseting for freedom
of movement, even with a harness. Now, you may be thinking that a one-piece
suit is a great idea—until
you start hiking and it feels like a steam room inside. No need to worry, a 3/4 length leg zip and extra-long X-Open underarm zips offer plenty of ventilation, and the Gore-Tex Pro Shell has excellent breathability. A generous pocket count gives you storage options inside and out, and the loose fit keeps things nice and relaxed.

Heli Ski worthy
This thing looks pretty heinous on me because it's just too large for my petite 5'3" frame. But it's a perfect companion for a heli run if you are so inclined.
...Even if said heli run was probably the 2nd worst refrozen cruddy chicken-head ice balls covered disaster I've ever skied.

I am 6'3" and 195 lbs. What size should I order?
Hi Tom--as you probably already knew, that's a tough call, and helping you make the right decision would depend on a couple of different questions:
1. What, if anything, do you plan on layering underneath the onesie?
2. How do you prefer your outer-layers to fit? Do you prefer room to move around, or do you like a more athletic feel?
Since you're right on the border of a L and an XL, I would recommend sizing to the L if you do not want to use excessive layers and like a tighter fit, or an XL if you'd like the ability to layer a little bit more and move around.
Hope this helps!
Go with the Large, the XL is huge. I'm 6'2" 180lbs with long limbs. my friend thats taller has a large (and wont trade me!) that does fit me well still with room to layer and length in the legs.
Worth. Every. Penny.
A few of my friends have these suits, and I've had the opportunity to borrow one a few times. There really is nothing more magical than this one-piece suit paired with a powder day.
These are suits from years previous, so the colors are different, but the BOMBPROOF construction has not changed. The blue suit I am wearing has EASILY seen 250 days of use, and it's still kicking. The durability of the Lofoten suit is unparalleled.
Fit is definitely 'freeride' - hence someone as small as I (5'3" - 120lbs) does end up looking a bit of a goon, but the comfort and unrestricted feel are worth it.
A multitude of pockets, flashy zippers, roomy hood, generous cuffs. and reinforced gaiters are some of the details that make this suit highly excellent. If Backcountry carried this suit in a size XS - I would purchase it immediately.
