Back for another season, Nordica's Patron Ski gets better with each passing year. The secret? Well, Nordica used only the finest ingredients when it crafted the first batch of Patron Skis, so there has been no need to alter the recipe. The Patron is composed of an intoxicating blend of a supple and energetic beech and poplar, stiff but pliable fiberglass, and lightweight carbon fiber that come together to create a ski that slides down the mountain smoother than a fine tequila goes down the gullet.
Part of the Patron's success lies on its Powder CamRock profile, which blends edgy low camber underfoot with a loose and floaty rocker in the tip and tail, letting you get up on edge when you need to and pivot and smear when the going gets deep. The Patron's blunt nose increases edge contact and decreases vibration for a smooth, stable ride, and the ABS sidewalls direct plenty of power down into the edges, so you'll be hard-pressed to find the Patron's speed limit. From waist-deep blower to day-old leftovers, the Patron's going to be your new weapon of choice.
