La Nina Ski - Women's

Como se dice, "rippin' pow ski that likes to tear up the whole hill from the first bell to the last?" Our Spanish is pretty rudimentary, but we're pretty sure the answer is "Nordica La Nina". Equal parts light and powerful, sturdy and playful, the La Nina Women's Ski is a fairly fat—113mm underfoot—pow-first board that's been pressed into Nordica's Powder CamRock profile, so it has floaty, smeary, and pivoty rocker in the tip and tail, along with edgy and aggressive camber underfoot to help you dice hardpack and chunder like a five-star snow chef. With fairly large sidecut and short turning radius, especially in the smaller sizes, the La Nina is also seriously nimble, so you can shimmy your way through tight trees and rip high-G groomer turns like you're on smaller boards.

The La Nina's rippin' is predicated on its Energy CA WI-Core, which is composed primarily of energetic and strong poplar and ash wood. These give the ski plenty of snap, while the prepreg laminates and PU stringers help prevent torsional twisting and provide a lively feel that makes the La Nina feel like a smaller ski in tight spots. Full ABS sidewalls direct energy into the steel edges for bomber hardpack grip, and the sintered base lets you take off like a rocket when you're playing a rowdy game of beat the tram to the bottom.
