The 2011 Nordica Girish Ski lives up to its reputation as a big-mountain charging, crud-dominating cruise missile. At 110mm underfoot with traditional camber, dual-titanium wood sandwich construction, and vertical sidewalls, the Girish will satisfy the strongest, most aggressive skiers on the mountain. (And then some.) Its directional shape makes it especially cater to the high-speed powder shredder (former racers, we mean you) who wants a stable ride.

Bottom Line: One for the big boys.

I'm an aggressive ex-racer, looking for something to take

I'm an aggressive ex-racer, looking for something to take on my trips to the mountains. 6' 205 pounds, like skiing steep, powder, bumps and trees so I'm looking for something to do all of that. Which length would you guys recommend for me?

This ski is great for an aggressive charger who likes to arc big turns on a lot of steep, wide open lines. Ordinarily, for a guy of your size, i would recommend the girish in the 193 length but because it is so stiff and you want to use it in the bumps and trees, i would say go with the 185 for the added maneuverability. for you, the 185 will be very versatile and perform well in all terrain and all conditions and will suit your needs perfectly.

I am a believer. You can build a ski that does almost everything and this one is it. Great on piste and off. This ski manuevers in everyting except small choppy bumps. The slight reverse camber makes for a ski that can handle high speeds on groomed runs but is good in the crud and sweet in the powder. Did not care for the graphics. Get rid of the rainbow and the lion overlay. The wood grain alone would be beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey there,

Sorry for the confusion with the description...This ski is the latest model and does feature early rise rocker in the tip.
