Like an attack dog that gets off its chain, the Nordica Dobermann GP 130 Ski Boot is not going to stop until it has shredded everything it can sink its teeth into. Virtually the same boot used by Nordica's World Cup athletes but with a slightly toned-down 130 flex, the Dobermann has a super-responsive 98mm last designed to squeeze every drop of performance out of your feet. The Pinned Performance Cuff attaches to the shell via metal pins for a rock-solid feel with no slop or movement, and the Full Motion Pivot lets you adjust lean, canting, and horizontal position to achieve optimal comfort and perfect alignment. Topping off the cuff is Nordica's Power Driver power strap, which locks down the liner and cuff together for seamless control and uniform movement.

The cuff and shell are made of a special polyurethane , which is significantly lighter than average shell plastic and flexes consistently regardless of temperature, so you won't find yourself skiing in rear-entry-style slop on warm spring days. Perhaps most importantly in this era of skiing, the Dobermann is super-customizable, with a heat-moldable Race GP Cork Fit liner and four buckles that articulate up and down for ease of use. Even better, it features the Bootfitter's Best Friend Gridworx system, which employs a double-sided grid marked on the shell of the boot, allowing bootfitters to pinpoint hot spots and fine-tune punches. Screw-in, as opposed to riveted, buckles and canting adjustments make changes or replacements a no-sweat procedure so you spend more time ripping up the mountain than sitting in the shop.
