Some may talk big, but after blowing it on their first run, their skiing says it all. You, on the other hand, let your skiing do the talking, and like you, the understated graphics of the Nordica Ace 2 Star Ski Boot let their heavy-hitting performance speak for itself.
With a progressive flex of 115, the Ace gives you buttery support when you start to lean into spins and landings, even if you're switch, but stiffens up when you really get into it. No matter what you're dropping, the Full Shock Eraser will take the beating that would otherwise be absorbed by your feet, knees, and spine, and the 45-degree instep closure will pull your heel directly into the heel pocket for supreme hold, while the 101mm last keeps your foot snug and comfortable.
You'll probably end up skiing your powder boards some days, too, and the Ace is perfectly equipped to handle wider skis, with a 3-piece shell construction for serious lateral stability and side-to-side control. It's also super-easy to get on and off, with a tongue and shell that move together to open the throat of the boot wide, even in the cold. All the buckles are also screwed in, as opposed to riveted, making them easy to replace if they break, so you'll be able to rock the Ace for years, or until your riding gets so good that someone starts paying you to wear their boots.
