It's go time

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 2"

I've had this watch for over a year. I absolutely love the color, love the fit, and the material. It's a soft silicone that doesn't irritate and isn't stiff.

Durability :
It doesn't show dirt. And if it does get dirty, it wipes off easily. I wore this everyday for almost an entire year and it didn't have any scuff marks or any wear and tear marks. Held up fine in water. The only reason I stopped wearing it was because the piece that holds the strap in place on the end broke. I rubber banded it so I could start to wear it again. Nixons repair process is annoying.

Fit :
My wrists are pretty tiny, so it is quite big on me but I like the big face look. I only wear it on the third notch from the tightest so it has room to move. If you have small wrists, you will be able to tighten it down enough.

Easy to use buttons and setting the watch is painless. It can be difficult to read in bright light or dark areas but just pushing the light up button makes it easy to read. No matter what lighting it is. I feel like there should be more contrast the color of the numbers.

My only complaint is that the little piece that holds the end of the strap in place while wearing it broke. You can see my rubberband job in the picture slightly. This is the second Nixon watch I've had to break. Luckily it doesn't affect the performance of the watch, but those small imperfections are annoying. Repairing the watch is more hassle than it's worth in my head. Especially after I've had them for so long. For some reason I continue to buy Nixon because I like the style so much, but I wish they would make a better product by focusing on the little things.

Overall, I love the watch.

Love it

Just got this watch, and I totally love it. The band is very comfortable, and soft. All the functions are very user friendly and easy to use. The only thing I don't like, is I find myself bumping the watch and pressing buttons. Also, it's kind of hard to read sometimes, as the back of the screen is very dark. But it's still an all around great watch! Would definitely recommend it

EDIT: I've owned this watch for about seven months now. The part that holds the band down snapped off about three months in. Although I was disappointed, I just stuck a hair tie on it to fix the problem. Still love the watch, but could be a little more durable.

Love the color, but...

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

The strap broke 11 months into wearing it (about 3 days a week). How can I get a new strap?
The clear coat around the face plate has peeled off some too.

What are the measurements?

Case Height: 40 mm
Case Width: 40 mm
Case Depth: 15 mm
Band Width: 7⁄8 in
Band Circumference/Length: 8 1⁄4 in

As I have mentioned below

As I have mentioned below

Medium Nixon Unit vs Casio G-Shock Mud Man (my lovely G-Shock). My hand size is LARGE

First inpression.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Positive feedback from my wife. Main things: nice contrast of display, soft plastic makes the skin feelings softer in compare with some other models. Just think about the size. Gloves size is Medium, so watches seems a bit bigger than we expected. Overall- good choice for general use (casual, hiking, mountaineering).

First inpression.

What are the dimensions of the watch? I think my hand is smaller than your wife's judging by glove size, and it's hard for me to envision if this watch would be way too large or reasonable.

size 40 mm, thickness 15 mm

I will upload the the picture with my classical Casio G-Shock Mud Man. THier sizes seems equal.
It means, if the size is your first priority- this is not yours. But if the comfort is first- this is good choice (soft strap material, nice contrast of display). And the main thing: if you like it- size does not matter!!!

I just received this watch & it appears...
