  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got the Nixon Rubber 42-20 Chrono as a gift back in December. After having the watch for a only a few months, it immediately needed a battery replacement. Then, just a week ago, I noticed my Nixon taking in water, and leaving moisture in the inside of the case. I wanted this watch because it was SUPPOSED to be water resistant. I contacted Backcountry in regard to the issue, and they re- directed me to Nixon. I then attempted to submit a repair request with Nixon, only to notice their website was non functional. I have emailed the manufacturer, with no response as of yet. My advice, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Does the silicone tug/pull hairs?

Does the silicone tug/pull hairs?

I wear a silicone banded watch of ours everyday of the week and I have no hair issues(that the watch is causing). Usually there is a coating on silicone when its brand new that will cause it to be tacky. But after you have worn it a few times it loses that tackiness and will feel like butter on your wrist. I say go for it!
