I got this watch for my hubby, but it needs to have another link put in it. We are on the road so we are not close to where I bought it. Right now we are in Vernal Utah, can you tell us where we can go to get it enlarged?? Our e-mail address is trustyharley @aol.com. the one he has is the Quatro in white. Thank you.

Hey Linda,
As long as you actually have the extra link, you can take it to any watch store and have it installed. If you don't have the link, you'll need to contact Nixon to get one.

This watch is really nice, especially at this price. I got the silver w/black face and the pictures above don't really do the watch justice (check the nixon site for better pics). The watch also is a good size, not to big or uncomfortable. The quality seems very good. It's just a sweet looking casual watch.

can someone tell me how to shorten the wristband on this watch? (remove links) thnx

Definitely take it to a jeweler to have them remove a link or two for you. Shouldn't cost more than ten clams, and it's much easier than scratching up the band, or breaking a pin and having to send it in to Nixon if you try to do it yourself.

If you take it to an authorizd Nixon dealer, they'll remove links for free.

Good solid watch for all occasions. Not too expensive from Nixon. Plus, you will get a fair amount of compliments about it.
Love It!

I also got this watch for my boyfriend. I love the way it looks and it really was easy to resize it. I got the silver one and it is really good to dress up or dress down.

I am regularly complimented on this watch and get the looks that come with it. It's not super flashy but the square face does the trick. makes me laugh at people who buy exorbitant watches that cost as much as a car. Can't forget to mention that it has a nice weight and feel to it.
May or may not be chick magnet.

Yup. Good price. Flashy and understated (is that possible? yes). This thing rocks. I won't mention the "chick magnet" thing. But since I mentioned not mentioning it, you get the point.

I got this watch for my boyfriend and he loves it! It was a bit big for his wrist but that was fine taking some links out was not a problem. It looks sleek and can be worn down or dressed up. The only thing I would say is that i thought that the checkers on the face would be more visable, also I didnt realize how large it was. But all in all its awesome, and looks great!

How do you take links off?
Justin Hosey just_blazed

to take the links out either take it to a jeweler (like 10-20 bucks per watch) or if you're like me a spend all your money on gear and don't have a budget to alter it get a tiny tiny tiny tiny nail and a hammer and use extreme patients. the pins only come out one side so make sure you pay attention to the tiny arrows on the band. take the tiny tiny tiny nail and a hammer and start tapping, lightly. i had to make a jig to hold it but I'm a stoner so I like doing that junk lol.
Hope this helps! sorry if it doesn't

Fantastic quality for a wicked price, which just adds up to a bloody brilliant watch. I've had my Quatro White for about 3 months now and since I got it I havent taken it off once. It looks even better on your wrist than it does behind a store cabinet or on the internet for that matter. It looks great whether you're chilling after a hard days snowboarding at the apres - ski at your local resort or sitting behind your desk at work.
I have this annoying knack for breaking things but hey, this rugged watch just takes its all and just doesnt loose its flair. Dude, if you're still stuck in dilema - give yourself a break, go out and GET IT, you will not regret it.

I ordered my Nixon Quatro for my boyfriend for Valentines Day through amazon. I accidentally had it shipped to the wrong address and I didn't realize it until approximately 4 days before the big day. I was able to contact Backcountry in the middle of the night via internet messaging and not only was able to have another one sent before Valentines day but also guaranteed a refund should the other one be returned. I was given excellent customer service. The watch is gorgeous, he loves it! And I was able to locate the previous shipment and get a full refund. I was very happy with the whole outcome.
