The Nixon Women's Dial Watch definitely favors the bold. Strong monochromatic geometry keeps you perfectly in sync with the color-blocking movement that is dripping off of runways from Paris to Tokyo. Polycarbonate construction is durable and impact-resistant so you can enjoy this timepiece for seasons to come.

Looks cool but not very functional

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This watch looks great and is super comfortable. Every time I wear it I get tons of complements. Like tons. Only thing is, the face is black, the numbers are black, the hands are black, and NO LIGHT! It's honestly pretty hard to actually tell what time it is in low light. Also, the face scratches easily and the plastic cover around the face fell off within the first 6 months. If you want to look cool but don't need a functioning watch, this is the one.

Cute, Hip Watch

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I just got this watch a couple weeks ago, and have had so many nice compliments. The band is all rubber, super light weight, and comfy. Most of the time I forget I'm wearing it. It looks good dressed up or down.

My wife says the band is comfy and not stiff whatsoever and she loves the way it looks. I think her wrist looks hot. Go for it.

Is this watch waterproof? water resistant?...

Is this watch waterproof? water resistant? says what material it is, but I'm not sure what that is... some kind of plastic, or is it more rigid than that?

Polycarbonate is pretty much just a heat-molded plastic. It's very resilient, without being brittle or stiff, making the watch impact and temperature resistant, and thus, extra durable. As for the water resistancy, it's good down to 50 meters, which is essentially a splash and weather-proofing. The Dial is definitely a fresh and lively fashion piece, and definitely not a dive watch.
