I have had this watch for just about 2 years now and its finally had its battle scars and scratches and couple of chips in the glass face. BUT STILL makes me look pimp'n. I always get compliments on it and is the perfect accessory to any attire you choose to wear. On the back face, as all Nixon watches do, it says "count it" I don't know what that means. But I always count on my watch to make look classy and get me through the day.

If you want to look like you are rollin' in the benzo, whether you are or aren't, this is the watch for you. Watch out for golddiggers!

why the huge price difference between color choices? 274 for the silver - 325 for the other colors?? The same movement in every watch? What is the driving factor(s) for price? I own four Nixons and the movements aren't that high quality compared to comparable brands in like price-range. Is it all in the name of fashion?

I've noticed that BC will mark down a style or color that isn't selling well. It's just so they are not overstockes with a poor seller.

how can you even tell if the movement is high quality?? it keeps time...just like any other quartz movement...what more do you want?

This is a sick watch... Nixon has their shit together and you can see that with this watch. You want a killer watch with a solid feel, the banks is the one to grab. Hell, it might even get you laid, worked for Hoser!

How long is the battery supposed to last?...

How long is the battery supposed to last? I had a nixon watch a couple years ago and the battery that came with it only lasted 3 months.

It will last longer a very long time, sounds like your previous Nixon was perhaps stored with the movement on before it sold? You should be ok, if you do have problems, feel free to return it, ya feels me?

Thinking of either getting the gunmetal or the black.

Question is, which one is more scratch resistant than the other? I know the black coating can be scratched off showing the chrome color but how bout the gunmetal? Is it just coated like the TiC?

neither are scratch resistant - my everyday watch choice is one with brushed look stainless - if the brushed finish gets scratched, I re-touch it with a piece of red scotch-brite pad and follow it up with some Flitz polish. Flitz works wonders on high-luster finishes and plastic crystals. I use a paper towel with a dab of polish - or a very soft cloth. Save the shiny watches for dress up only..

I got the all black Banks Watch and love it. I wear it now when I go out instead of my Rolex! Had to take one link out of the band but after that it fit like a champ. Keeps awesome time and looks like a million bucks. Definitely thinking about the next Nixon watch.

I never thought a watch could be a conversation starter in public places. This watch (black band/mint face) did that 3 times for me already since I got mine. This is the best watch for style, feel, size, colors and overall quality. I don't ever leave home without it. Get yours. You'll love it.
I wasn't even a watch-type person before this one. Now I'm addicted.

the bottom dial is for the seconds. you can't set it so if yours isnt moving then it is either faulty or you need a new battery

How big is the Banks case in millimeters?...

How big is the Banks case in millimeters? It says 41-47 but any watch lover knows that is a huge difference. I'm used to a 47mm right now and would not want to go below this size. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they are referring to the case being 41mm wide and 47mm tall (The case being taller due to the extensions to connect to the band.)

I got this watch in black on black from my GF and this watch is defently the sickest watch that nixon makes. Has really smooth and clean lines that make this watch steezy. Bottomline step-up and by this watch.

I have this watch over a year in two tone black. I wear this watch at least 4days out of the week. Always gets me compliments. One thing i really like about this watch is its durability and glass on the watch is almost unstretchable. Last but not least great unlimited backcountry.com warranty.

What would James Bond do (WWJBD)? He would buy this watch! At least that how i feel when i wear it. I have the all black, and it is freakin slick. I get tons of compliments, all the time, my friends always ask if they can wear it out, of course i say no... If this might annoy you, don't buy it. And if you do buy the banks, don't buy the all black, i don't want a bunch of posers out there sporting my watch! lol.

Honestly I love this watch. I have it as weekend wear - during the week is a Rolex Submariner. I enjoy how it feels very solid and has a truly unique style. Wish I could write even more about it.
