In honor of their Scandinavian heritage and their overall viking-like badassery, Nitro decided to hook Gjermund Braaten, Torgeir Bergrem, and Nils Arvidsson up with their own pro model, the Viking Snowboard. Based off the T1.5, this all-mountain freestyle killer was built for pillaging the park, plundering powder, and terrorizing groomers.
Since all of these guys like to go huge, Nitro gave the Viking its Lowrider camber, which is a mellower version of traditional camber that provides plenty of pop, power, and edge hold while giving it a less grabby, more forgiving feel. Triax glass ensures quick response and a snappy flex when flying into jumps, and beefy RailKiller edges are 20% thicker than standard edges so they can take a beating when you're throwing down in the streets.. The lightweight Powercore II poplar core features inlaid beech strips for extra strength, and it's got Whiplash profiling so it's thinner between the bindings for maximum pressibility and thicker underfoot for durability. Plus, the Speed Formula HD sintered base will keep you moving fast even if you haven't bothered to wax for a while.
