The Nitro Ultimate Snowboard harnesses an aerospace-grade Koroyd core for near-telepathic response, extremely lightweight performance, and a highly damp feel. Offering a 70% weight reduction over standard wood cores, Koroyd is made of vertically aligned, welded mini tubes for an über-light snowboard that doesn't sacrifice strength or stiff flex characteristics. In fact, you'll find the Ultimate is not only extremely responsive, but it's also super-smooth when you're charging through chop and variable snow conditions. As a side effect of its highly lightweight feel, the Ultimate effortlessly planes across deep, untracked powder, even though it's designed with a traditional camber profile.

Built upon a directional, mid-wide shape, the Ultimate is slightly set-back for increased float in powder, as well as enhanced straight-line stability. Its mid-wide shape increases the waist width, accommodating riders with larger feet. Diamond laminates further increase the board's snap and liveliness, making it exceptionally responsive when you're charging backcountry steeps and demanding terrain. Throw in Nitro's Sintered Speed Formula II base for blistering speed across long run-outs at the bottom of the mountain, as well as enhanced glide across deep, untracked powder.
