Thunder Splitboard

Electrify your off-piste riding experience with the directional shape and added stability of the Nitro Thunder Splitboard. As Nitro's first foray into crafting split boards, the Thunder splitboard was designed to excel at climbing and riding down steep, gnarly chutes and open backcountry bowls alike. Pre-drilled inserts accommodate the industry-standard Voile splitboard binding interface or other split-specific binding systems. Binding mounting hardware and clips aren't included.

This all-mountain, mid-wide split board has a medium-stiff flex that gives you enough support for charging a wide variety of backcountry terrain, but has enough flex for playing around on mellow terrain. A standard camber profile gives gimmick-free edge grip and response, while a directional shape provides ample float courtesy of a one-inch stance setback. Loaded with Nitro's Powerlite core, this snowboard has an ultra-lightweight feel, spring-loaded pop, and long-lasting durability, courtesy of a high-grade poplar composition. Smooth-flexing Bi-Lite laminates cross in 90 degree directions for unrivaled strength. The super-hard and highly porous Speed Formula HD sintered base is ideal for maintaining maximum speed and resisting damage from unmarked obstacles.
