Here's what others have to say...

How do I determine what size a Large is...

How do I determine what size a Large is in this jacket? Is is a 12-14 or a 10-12 or a straight size, i.e., 10? I want to order a snowboarding/ski jacket that is approx. a size 10 for my daughter.

Nitro lists the measurements for their youth outerwear in a Large size as being the following:

Chest: 30in

Waist:25 1/2 - 25 3/4in

Hip: 32 - 32 1/4in

Inseam: 26in

I suppose you will need to take a loose measuring tape to your daughter to get an idea of what her personal physical dimensions are relative to what the appropriate dimensions Nitro lists as having for their Large size, then go from there. If she's close in each of those categories, I would say buy the Large.

Hope this helps!
