Made for chicks who rip.

Be careful, your mother might pass out when she sees the death-defying lines you take when you're riding in the Nitro Women's Faint TLS Snowboard Boot. This stiff freeride boot was built for hard-charging ladies who don't compromise when it comes to response and support.

New this season is a Vibram Icetrek outsole that substantially improves grip on icy surfaces and boosts durability, as well as the Cloud 7 liner which offers a whole new level of comfort while also reducing weight thanks to the Thermacell material. The TLS lacing system features two speedlace pulls that let you independently adjust different zones of the boot so you can dial in the perfect fit. If anything breaks it can easily be fixed without special tools, and when you're ready to get out of your boots simply give the Bail Out tab a quick pull and the shell opens without a fuss.

An EVA midsole offers lightweight cushioning for easier landings and a smoother ride, and Air Dampening absorbs shock from harsh impacts to save your heels. The Therminator Shield sits under the liner and reflects body heat back to your feet for more warmth without adding insulation. The Armored Spine uses an anatomically-shaped and 3D-molded heel reinforcement to maintain stiffness and keep your heel locked in.

Finally! A practical boot for women!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They're warm, comfy, waterproof and the Vibram sole is so grippy. I've used these boots mainly for splitboarding and they are very comfy to tour in and they're great on the downhill too. The first two times I wore them, I got two little blisters on either side of my achilles from the heel cushion but I'm glad I stuck with them because after that, I got no more blisters AND my heel never slips. Couldn't be happier! FYI, my foot is really wide where my toes are and none of my toes feel pinched or squished. These boots are perfection.
